  2. Hello everyone, I am abhi, and here I want to know more about cultivation, actually I recently started cultivating with meditation as base and im addition I practice taekwondo, but I don't know if I am doing it right or not, some say that they feel it in their body some kind of energy or something but I think I feel it it's just normal for me, during recent surfing I came across this site and thought to head some advice from others who do practice cultivation. If anyone can help me to know how do I start it or how do I know if I am doing it right then it would be much appreciated. Thank You 😊

  6. I was wondering about strongest (or not strongest but the strongest you know of) spiritual practice you know i would like to have some "cool" out of the usual spiritual (i including feeling qi in this - seeing lights etc) that has the fastest effect - or maybe not even the fastest but that has sure effects if you do it and effects in a pretty short time ( a few months is also ok) for example is rebirthing that excericse ? 100 wall squats every day ? horse stand ? etc (Asking cause heared that if you do 100 wall squats each day it can heal all your health problems - and made me think about after trying many stuff and always feeling motivated that i dont see a difference (meditaitng for hours etc) and have a hard time to keep practicing non stop for more than a month (can do intesnse practice but not keep it more than a month without stopping) thought maybe there is some exercise that you 100% sure if you do for like tops one month you almost certainly will experience some "cool stuff" (more than just feeling more relaxed ! ) that can help motviate you further and since i dont want to be dissapointed wanted to hear about teh "Strongest" exceirses people know about that have the biggest chance to get results ** and without getting into a debate about it - im asking for all spiritual practices (spiritual can also be physical like wall squats of course) except drugs which i am not interested in trying
  7. In the spiritual world, there are many "buzz words" and most people use them quite profusely. I propose that we try to do an exercise where we compile a list of common terms and see if our understanding of these words match. Let me start with three words we use very freely and what they mean to me. Doing exercises like this may help us avoid unnecessary arguments over misunderstandings vis-a-vis jargon and syntax and work on creating better understanding/more meaningful discourses. Awareness Consciousness Mind On the surface these three words seem to be synonyms (or at least seem to be referring to the same thing). However, if we dig a bit deeper, our personal understanding of might be more nuanced. For instance, my understanding of the words have evolved over the years from roughly meaning the same thing to meaning more specific and different "things". Awareness - This to me means the primary quality that allows one to know. This can be used synonymously, imho, with Pure Awareness or Pure Objectless Consciousness. Consciousness - This to me means awareness in conjunction with any object. Or "objective consciousness". If there are no objects (ie empty), then I call it "Pure Objectless Consciousness" and can use it synonymously with "awareness". Mind - This is a field of objects or a stream of objective consciousness. To me, Mind doesn't mean "awareness" or even consciousness, per se. It is the stream of consciousness, basically the incessant knowing of objects.
  8. The Dragon Revealed -

Thank you for making this opportunity available for others to share their experience in the Chinese Internal arts. My name is Eric Wilson . . . I trained and taught Chinese Kung-fu, Tai-chi, and Qigong for more than 24 years. And while I did realize a great manifestation of "internal" power, I also experienced some very strong negative effects. I am sharing my story and these experiences at the links below, and it is my prayer that these will be of help to those who also have had questions about the spiritual source of Chi and "internal" power. Thank you, Eric Wilson and family
  9. That which Awakens is always awake, always there. I attended a 3 day retreat on The Mandukya Upanishad, which shows us the nonduality inherent in our everyday experience, right here and right now, by pointing to something that underlies our everyday experiences of waking, dreaming and deep sleep. To try an exercise as an experiment (I've seen Papaji do this and it worked for me), for anyone who wants to try ie. -- Try and see who you are, in a fraction of a second, without thinking. Don't try to guess what the answer will be, but in YOUR EXPERIENCE, see who you are, without thinking. What do you get? More to follow afterwards.

  11. Okay, I have been reading about ways of opening the microcosmic orbit and one way is the cool draw technique known as testicle breathing. Another I have read is about imagining a small white pearl at the lower dantian and then orbiting the pearl around the back and front channel with intention to feel at the same time as visualization. Do you guys think the deer exercise can help open this orbit? And, can you guys tell me what techniques you use to open the microcosmic orbit?
  12. cool draw - testicle breathing

Okay, I am having a hard time trying to feel my CHI go up my spine when practicing the cool draw known as testicle breathing I just cant feel it and worried if I have some blockages? I have been study a little sexual kung fu as described by Mantak Chia in his book the Multi-Orgasmic Man. I also have back pain when standing for long periods of time do to a injury some time last year, but I never went to the doctor. I am in my early 20's so do you think this will effect my sessions at home or will my back get stronger do to practicing Mantak Chia practices?
  13. Here's a tough one for you! If you're too old for songs about Santa Claus and Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer, but you are also not a Christian, so O Holy Night, Silent Night and about 1000 other songs are out, what do you listen to around Christmas? Specifically, what spiritual, but not religious, albums do you like to listen to, assuming you acknowledge the holiday season at all? I can only think of one so far, and that is Sting's, "If On A Winter's Night." But that, technically, according to the artist, is a winter album, not a Christmas album. Maybe the key is winter albums? Looking forward to your suggestions!

  16. What is right for me?

Hello, So I am interested in meditation which will lead to 'higher' planes. I have started with trying to find my spirit guides, and think I have contacted them once. I am also interested in magick but the only references I have are franz bardon. the type of magick i would be interested in would be, if possible, to do through knowledge gained in meditation or something I can do alone, but without alot of space. I am just very interested, as a beginner, for where to start so I can see/experience what my journey. I like it to feel as 'real' as possible. I don't have a set place but I am looking for the start place so I can become more spiritually aware and then deicide my path. Thanks!
  17. Synchronicity

As human beings become more and more out of touch with Nature and more entrenched in modern society, as they become more and more materialistic in their thinking, as their energy channels and hearts become more closed off, they also lose touch with the phenomena of Synchronicity. Here is a really cool Synchronicity quote generator, based on sayings and quotes by the one and only Edgar Cayce- http://www.all-edgar-cayce.com/edgar-cayce-inspirational-quotes.htm
