  1. This thread is for public offering of for sale Videos of some of the levels of Tien Shan Chi Kung, as well as some bits and pieces of Tien Shan, which I am calling Black Dragon Chi Kung. Tien Shan Nei Kung, a vanishingly rare prehistoric system of true nei kung for cultivating super health, longevity, chi power, and spiritual growth. This video shows the beginning level of a vast system which contains thousands of techniques, has interminable depth, and takes decades to learn. It can take you all the way to the mountain top. The beginning levels of Tien Shan are excellent for healing. getting rid of sick energy, cultivating healthy energy, and balancing your energy. It has a genius level of focus on being fast and efficient, no time is wasted on useless or low power methods. This is the type of chi kung described in the book "A Lineage of Dragons" and is the cultivation practice that Master Fook Yueng, who was Bruce Lee's uncle and main kung fu teacher, used for himself to become one of the more powerful and advanced chi kung masters in the world. This is the true beginning level of Tien Shan Chi Kung as taught to Steve Gray by Fook Yueng. It contains hundreds of techniques that the astute practitioner will be able to perceive and practice. The video has a voice over explaining how the movements should be done properly. To succeed in this type of cultivation the student must turn the sound off after one or two times and have it on very rarely if at all after that. You should strive to close your eyes more and more until you can do the whole thing without watching. Students who wish to come here to practice must first memorize this form so that they can do it with eyes closed. This type of chi kung is very different than most, which are bits of systems which some teachers have watered down to make easy to learn, this is a practice that has withstood the test of thousands of years and is specifically for producing super men and women, as described in the video at the end of this post. The DVD is thirty minutes long, I would like to see suggestions for a good price for this - thanks. This is the video which describes the goals and results of Real nei kung: I'll be continuing to edit this as I update the description.
  2. Qi/Energy Practice Over Years

I signed up for this forum over a decade ago. At the time, I was studying both Buddhist and Daoist systems of practice. Over the years, my Daoist, energy, qi etc. based practices have changed, come and gone. My Buddhist practice has evolved quite a bit, but remains a steady core part of my life. I am wondering: for those who have engaged in energy-based practices long-term, what have you seen over the last decade or so? If you could beam back a transmission to your younger self, what would you say? What has worked and what hasn't? Have you discovered a simple, easy daily practice set?
  3. Thanx for accepting me at this forum! Hello my name is Douwe Geluk from Apeldoorn city in the Netherlands aka Holland. I saw this forum and wanted to become a member immediately. 4. Let's Talk Heartfulness

I want to talk about my experience with Heartfulness. Now, I'm not talking about the form from Mindfulness in the book "Cultivating Heartfulness" that I've seen spoken about around Daobums, but something different that has completely changed the way I cultivate. Most of us are practitioners or at least know of the refining processes of cultivating and internal alchemy. We all know it to be an excruciatingly long and arduous process to refine our internal energies in order to produce measurable results. I have always been drawn to daoist practices from a young age and would meditate without even really knowing what it was, it just felt nice. But i didn't start officially Cultivating until just after college but i was underwhelmed by how little return you get for so much effort. I had processed far enough to have formed my Dantian and refined my senses enough to be able to detect spiritual energies and their movement. However, then i encountered a practice called Heartfulness that utilizes Yogic Transmission and this put my cultivation into hyperdrive! It would normally take me about two weeks to take in qi, extract the impurities, refine it into a higher form, and condense it into a pearl to draw up into the second dantian. But with Heartfulness, i was able to complete that entire process in One Day while i was At Work! I don't sit behind a desk, i work at UPS. I'm constantly moving and i was able to refine a pearl almost Passively while i was constantly busy. It felt like as long as i was doing Heartfulness, the energy would move Intelligently on its own to complete work within me, automatically. After a week of this, my body became stronger. I was able to walk around in 40 degree weather in shorts and a teashirt without getting cold and things that would normally hurt or bruise me would hardly hurt at all. I wanted to share this with my brothers here on Daobums so that you all could give it a try and share your results here! It's completely free, all the teachers are volunteers. https://heartfulness.org/us/masterclass/- This is the three-part video series that introduces the practice and helps you experience the transmission. https://heartfulness.org/us/experience-heartfulness/- You can follow this link and scroll down to “Try Heartfulness with Assistance” for a more personal experience with a real person rather than a video series, though I do recommend the video series first.

  6. Greetings and Love to 1 and all

Hi everybody!!! Longtime lay-omni spiritualist here! I'm a working percussionist, drum maker, music producer and DJ in NYC. My family consists of the 3 of us - my common-law wife & an 8 year-old 3rd grader called "Love". We live comfortably in the Bronx near Yankee Stadium. All 3 of us do a damn good traditional Okinawa Goju-Ryu class in Harlem 3x/week. Our teacher turned us on to the standing and sitting 8 pieces of brocade forms. It's reignited my personal quest for this old school knowledge from Asia I started when I was a kid - 1st from my father ranting about Taoism & physics then stumbling onto Mantak Chia's books in the early 90s. We're 2 years into this Goju discipline next week & as I turn 44, my thoughts turn to my end game: I want to live long & need ALL my systems functioning strongly into old age to achieve my goals. IMO the Taoists and Buddhists figured all that out 1000s of years ago & I thought this'd be a great forum to discuss. Looking forward to listening to/sharing with all of you. 1 perfect love, Ceiba aka Brotha Sean
  7. The Dragon Revealed -

Thank you for making this opportunity available for others to share their experience in the Chinese Internal arts. My name is Eric Wilson . . . I trained and taught Chinese Kung-fu, Tai-chi, and Qigong for more than 24 years. And while I did realize a great manifestation of "internal" power, I also experienced some very strong negative effects. I am sharing my story and these experiences at the links below, and it is my prayer that these will be of help to those who also have had questions about the spiritual source of Chi and "internal" power. Thank you, Eric Wilson and family
  8. Hi, greetings from me. i have been thinking about this for a while: 1. is chi measurable (in a sense is there a maximum ammount of chi we can store) 2. if lower dan tien is used to store the majority of chi, and its said that dan tien is located in our stomach, does that means people with larger build get more benefit with having more space inside? 3. if there is a maximum capacity we can store the chi, what happens when we reach that point? 4. is the tightness i feel inside my stomach be my dan tian? recently i felt like i'm more muscular in that area thats said to be dan tian location, but i can't feel it as a ball of energy or any ball at all... just tight like flexing muscle, which sometimes cold, sometimes warm, and some other times disappear. thank you, and hoping to learn and get guidance from you seniors and masters
  9. Hello I am a new :)

Hi all I am very happy to be here but I am full of questions and doubts. I was hoping someone can help me on this journey. 1) Where should I start? 2) How do I cultivate Jing, chi and shen? 3) Do I have to be celibate? 4) If I am sexually active, can I still conserve my Jing? How? 5) Where do I find a Master to learn from? Does it has to be in person or can it be online? 6) I live in New Zealand, anyone here as well? As you can see I am very lost, any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you
  10. Hey, i was wondering if other people went through similar experience especially those who practice vipassana, scan the body and such. Sometimes i feel a deeply annoying sensation on 3rd eye, heart and stomach, that arises and feels like deep thing, not pain but makes feel like wanting to hit that part of the body or thought of trying to push something in just feel to exist or whatever. And sometimes almost makes me go crazy when it happens at different parts simultaneously. Any idea what is that related, energy or what ? Thanks
  11. Hey everyone hope all is well. I hope I'm posting this in the right thread but I was have came across a few different sources of information about practitioners that develop this rock like sphere of energy in their lower dantian after years of practice. From my knowledge this is when the actual yin and yang of the bodies energies connect and you are then able to cultivate this energy in a sphere that you can manipulate. It stays in the stomach region but can be moved up and down and side to side. Would anyone happen to have any information or maybe has experienced anything like this? That is was I think is our battery pack, we just have to learn how to connect every wire to that battery for it become the whole sphere and rock hard.
  12. Greetings fellow citizen scientists, practioners, interested readers, I watched with great interest when the Nobel prize was awarded because they finally recorded gravity waves, for the first time in history... and they were measured with a chirp wave similar to lightspeed. I have long felt that many practices are bending time/space and with it influencing or using gravity, or the other way around. As I started digging on chi and chirp waves, I found that they see them generated during practices, and during healing, during certain breathing exercises, etc. So, the chirp wave function example was, out of 35 who claimed to be "healers", only 3 actually produced chirp waves. This could be a very interesting way to see if things are flowing, or if somebody wishes they were a healer. Through further study, I discovered that similar waves are being used in science to stimulate a short burst of CD34 stem cells during such healing practices. This in turn creating an almost instantaneous healing, depending on where the chirp waves were focused, intensity, etc. While this is happening, there is a 25.75 to 30 degree bend in the magnetic field, but without electrical force. Which simply means that the flow is parallel and not perpendicular to the magnetic field, but bending the field at the same time. A simple array of compasses around anyone practicing should relfect this change in magnetics, and also could be a wonderful device to measure with immediate results, helping to guide proper development and further research. I have a number of links to studies, if anyone is interested. Here are my notes: Magnetic field oscillations were created between 20 - 30 Hz then slowing to 8.9 Hz and creating a chirp that slows further to < 1 Hz, at which point they reverse and increase in frequency. 1 - 8 milliGauss peak-to-peak with a 60 - 120 second duration. Others were measured at 4 - 10 Hz with a peak of 2 - 4 milliGauss (200 - 400 mT). The normal human body is < 10-negative-6 Gauss. Healers are creating 10-negative-3 Gauss, huge difference! The description uses sinusoidal waveforms. Thus fluctuating on either side of a neutral space. The photons increase during this. http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0009261417302695 Gravity is a chip wave. The earth wobbles through this chirp wave at 23.5 degrees to magnetic pole and 49.5 degrees. Gravity is 35 - 250 Hz. During measurement, a magnetic compass needle rotated about 30 degrees at chirp wave, more likely the measurement should be more accurately done, suggest a probable 25.75 degrees as more accurate to perpetuate the theory of torus magnetic line directions. Just the Qigong breathing exercise was enough to change the magnetic field dramatically. However, there is no change in the electrical current that would correspond to magnetic fluctuations, showing an apparent parallel flow. Here a perpendicular flow would induce a magnetic-electric current. There have been experiments using a cone-shape to capture and store the energy flow, which has been successful, as well as “charging” a number of non-magnetic objects with energy that can be recalled again later. The cone shape can be seen through history with fingertip covers, hats and crowns, dunce caps, pyramids and other shapes. The Tai Chi and Qi Gong masters use the exercises to lower gravity, or the center of gravity as the practice more accurately states. So they are learning to “feel” gravity while charging up energy. When this energy flows, they claim it attaches to emotional feelings of well-being or healing directed towards the person to be treated, even the self. Without emotional energy, it does not flow properly.. interesting point! Now we are seeing that using these waves can also increase stem cells in the person focused on, as well as other chemical interactions. Chirp waves have the ability to heal, or harm. And Chirp Waves are now realized as gravity, and connected to photons, which is probably time as we measure it. We know that time flow is different at ocean level and the top of the tallest mountains, as measured using the atomic clock. It is a fraction of a second, but should tell us the actual speed or change in speed of gravity and time as it reaches from that elevation to the ocean level. NASA and the space team are very aware of the time differences and there have been some interesting experiments about time change in orbit.

  14. The Bonghan System

In the early 1960's Bong Han Kim discovered a biological system that lined up exactly with the meridians and acupuncture points of the human body. Shortly afterwards Kim and much of his published research disappeared Prior to that, his research indicated, this system had energy carrying capacities, far beyond any other of the human circulatory systems. The next 50 years saw an active suppression of this research. But, the Bonghan system is now being resurrected as the "Primo Vascular System" by some pretty big names in biology, chemistry and cancer research. It seems that this new research is corroborating much of Bong Han Kim's earlier research. I am interested in how many Dao Bums know of this and what their understanding is of its' spiritual/meditative/health value?
  15. Start of A Journey

Hi guys, Im new to this forum so dont know what to expect. A little backstory on me: have been searching for truths in life for a long time, have a nagging urge to delve into spiritual and philisophical circles like this. Have read about Christianity, Hinduism, several yoga practices, Taoism, and various practices within it. I feel that chi kung could give me the most immediate help in opening the doors to further searching. But I cannot sense my chi. I have only begun practicing, and I understand that it may take time and definitly will take practice. I am regularly practicing, but I have heard stories of people who have not felt their chi for several years. Some may say that it will come to each at their own time, but I believe that this is an excuse for unawarness of effective methods. So my request is for anyone to give me insight on how to fasttrack my awareness of chi, may it be through books, opinions, or experience. Thanks so much!
  16. Acupressure and acupuncture are two therapies based in the practice of traditional Chinese medicine. They both believe that symptoms and diseases in the body are caused by an imbalance or blockage of energy flow in the body. These techniques aim to restore the flow of energy to improve health and well being. In Mantak Chia's book Awakening The Healing Energy Through The Tao he gives us a great insight on how to open or awaken are Chi through acupressure. I have been performing this mediation to help awaken the lower tan tien and may I say this is a great technique if you are having no luck opening the lower cauldron. Please read the book for full description. Here is brief description taken from his book: Use a Finger to help Concentrate When you concentrate on the navel focus one and a half inches below the skin. In the beginning, apply pressure on the point with your index finger for one to five minutes, then return your hands to your lap with the right palm over the left. Concentrate on the sensation created by your finger, pressing again when the point becomes indistinct. Once more, do not concentrate on breathing. Merely relax your eyes, tongue, and throat, and the mind will become still Once the mind is calm the power will accumulate. At first it is not easy to draw power to the energy center because your vital regenerative faculties have been abused for years. Your health cannot be restored overnight. The more you practice the stronger you will get, and you will be more able to endure heat produced by the higher voltage of chi. If you have been concentrating on the navel for a long time but do not feel any energy, change your focus to the Ming-Men, the point opposite the navel on the spine. This helps the energy to rise up to the head and descend down the front of the body to the feet. However, if you do not feel anything in the navel but have definite signs of improved health, you are on the right track. Remember, the experience of chi is different for everybody. Some people experience warmth or bubbling sensations, others feel as though their navel area is expanding, and some people can increase their chi circulation without creating vivid sensations. No matter what your experience is, try to be as sensitive and aware of your body as possible. Adventure into your body, it is a vast land laden with riches.
  17. New guy says hi!

Hello, I was referred here by a redditor after making this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/energy_work/comments/5fr8gs/whats_the_next_step/ I copied and pasted it below. I have high levels of energy which I meditate on and run through different circuits frequently. Some days I try to "burn" with my whole body at once all day long. I am familiar with rotating major and minor chakras on two axis of rotation, and the stimulating effects that has on the energy meridian pathways. I can feel where the meridians go and identify where acupressure and acupuncture points will stimulate. I can warm myself when cold and heal myself. During intense energy meditations, my point of awareness isn't at the third eye, it's wherever I'm focusing, and I can look around and see the energy fields of my body, the chakras, the meridians, the physical anatomy as well, and it's all dancing in all colors of the rainbow, and is accompanied by beautifully harmonious astral music. I don't believe I've had a full Kundalini experience, but when I do connect the tail of the snake through my root to the earth, or the "below", and run the head of the snake through my crown to the "above", it feels like going super saiyan, especially if I'm cycling with the whole universe, fully open, sending and receiving to infinity. Am I right in thinking that I should be putting more energy into the environment now? Feeling my surroundings and working energy with other people? So far I can put up a strong shield, I can "feel" people, whether they're close or far, and send them energy, having beginners identify the areas I send energy to and whether I'm sending energy or pulling energy. All information on energy work I've found thus far teaches how to do these things I've become familiar with, but on my own I've started to find things I haven't heard about before, like seeing the energy and hearing music. Does anyone know where I can progress from here? Any high-level books I could read? What else is possible?
  18. Hello, I was just reading about jing, qi and shen and there are a lot really, but for now i want to practice and try to cultivate the jing after reading its benefits. I was wondering if anyone knows some good videos on youtube or something that you recommend that teach how to cultivate it or maybe a website? or if it is possible to explain here, if you know any? and If you are advanced in such cultivation, can you tell me about your experience and how your journey was, and what impact did it have on your social, love and sexual life.. and other aspects of your life? Also, I do practice vipassana, is there a link between vipassana and cultivation the jing energy? Thank you.
  19. Hi there, I'm a follower of the Eight Pieces of Brocade (Ba Duan Jin) system in Qi Gong. I'm self taught and have been doing this for almost 2 years. I earnestly try to calm my mind and sense the Chi running up my spine. Very occasionally it runs through my head and if I hold my tongue on my upper mouth I believe I can sense it running down back to the Dan Tien. The other line I've very definitely sensed is down my arm to my hand, especially if I'd done the "tapping" Qi Gong routine. So that's 2 of the 12 I have definitely sensed. How easy are the others to gain a "glimpse" of? Qi Gong gives me insights into my, or rather the human body, almost every day.
  20. Greetings and salutations.From IL.

Hello My name i go by is Asharana but if you would like to know my formal name its actually Kenneth. Ive practiced Microcosmic orbit from the mantak chia awakening healing light series as well as learning about the 3 dan tiens. Ive only recently been able to connect the spiritual body (macro) to the Micro(physical) so i am looking on where to go now i noticed each time ive connected to the northstar general other wise known as the northern star i feel either a strong spinning sensation or a pull from what feels like a strong vacuum effect of it. getting back to the intro i wanted to learn not only advance healing techniques but also how to have a strong or more fluid connection to the "Wuji" or emptiness I am unsure why but this seems to be one of the things on my bucket list before i move unto my next life. i can say ive experienced the silence of meditation and felt awakenings of the spiritual nature that hit me more then once like a mach truck of the universal energy . I was first developing or cultivating the energy that i have now when i was about 20-23 years old by first being attuned to reiki. then i realize there are methods that are more simple then reiki within in the first year of finding that attunement i decided that i would learn to be a healer to assist in developing my energetic body which i did not know could grow or i should say raise to higher levels until i started reading about "light/rainbow/diamond bodies" that is when i realize i had all the time i need to start working on my self to become better with my abilities and uncover new ones over time. So i am happy and hoping that within these few years ahead i'll be lead further down my path into the understanding of what my other spiritual bodies are like or even if my soul it self it manly multi-existantial
  21. This thread was inspired by a post I made in The Pit. see below I'm looking for a polite thread on how the various arts interpret and practice yin and yan energies. I spent most of my time in Ki-Aikido which had a mostly singular definition of Ki. A useful one. Most Eastern arts seem to split chi into many types of energy. The biggies being yin and yan. How does your art work with yin and yan chi? As well as other forms. What develops yin chi, what yan? Do we need to separate them? What is the framework understanding in different systems. As well as practices if permitted. I'm hoping we'll get some of the sites more experienced people weighing in on this and the discussion stays open and respectful.
  22. I am a nearly 22 year old male and I have chosen at this time of life to be celibate and conserve jing while trying to restore lost chi from childhood. Since I don't have sex, masturbate or watch porn I am afraid my testosterone is low for a male although this may not be rational, I am not sure. But I at least want to train my mind to meditate on sexual desire and transmute it instead of pursuit of temporary pleasure into confidence and personal strength. The longest I have retained is 168 days and I'd like to go indefinitely from this point onward but it means I am going to have to find healthy outlet for fulfillment and accomplishment in life. That's the whole idea though lol. Any thoughts or suggestions?
  23. New To Testicles Breathing

When practicing testicle breathing should you as well as practice celibacy to improve results? And how long does it take to have a successful session with testicle breathing. When you center your attention around your testicles should I feel like a cold icy feel down there when breathing? And is it the breath going from the testicles to the spine? Any Tips
  24. John Chang

I am mostly interested in John Chang from Indonesia, I have watched his videos and my son has a similar gift where he can see energy and direct it and has done healing on me, friends and some animals. We would really like to be able to contact this man and possibly meet him someday. Personally I don't study this exactly, I am more into sound healing and Sanskrit mantras, interested in Buddhism and Hinduism. I do believe in this form of healing it is just my sons thing.
