7 pointsMany of you know I don't post much these days, I just try to keep to myself, teach meditation to those who are interested and treat patients. Sadly, one of my students developed a massively superiority complex and I want to squish this drama before it can start. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0H9TghyCOwk The above video is him explaining how it took him only 3 months to faqi, misleading everyone through his completely skewed timeline. He is not only lying to everyone, he is offering teaching which he has no authority to do and posting videos that he was expressively asked not to. He is currently regularly seeing brother wu and made it clear that he only cares about his own financial gain and getting a return on his investment. He outright feels that anything he learned can be taught without repercussion and WITHOUT PERMISSION. He is not authorised to teach anything from Authenticneigong or Gengmenpai, the school of the late Master Jiang Feng headed now by Master Wu (Brother wu to me). I had to step in with this comment on his video. "I think I will just step in here before this turns into a unnecessary battle. Stephen started training with me in April 2022 ( I can prove this ), he took my seminar and did the practices that I teach. I took him on trips to get his health sorted, which was desperately needed. The reason it was free with Brother Wu, from gengmenpai, is because the blockages he had were already resolved on the trips with me. He didn't take 3 months to faqi, it took much longer, was completely and totally assisted. Don't take my word for it, take his own video recommendation for my teaching. This is where his dantian was activated in Nov 2022, this is why his progress was so good. Don't be a chump, give thanks and credit where it is due. This already puts his at training for 6 months, not 3 and his eventual assisted faqi came much later still. Also Stephen, Master Jiang specifically asked not to post his videos online, he doesn't want his face online and this is another thing you didn't respect or do. I am asking you now, to show some respect and do what is right. Take down all the videos you were not allowed to post, stop teaching practices you have no authority to teach." He has been lying about who who learned from and who helped him get there, he has been posting videos he has no permission to do, he has been teaching practices which he has no permission to do and has started attacking my student base for calling him out on his lies. Anyone in our discord can see old messages and Stephen posted often of his training, how grateful he was be learning and how he could feel the results, something very different from his recent online videos where he is trying to claim to be a messiah. Unfortunately my comments on his videos can easily be deleted so made this post to warn newcomers to not fall for these lies and definitely don't train with someone who is a beginner themselves. When things eventually go wrong, he was no way of helping you. Hope this helps people not fall into the trap of believing the delusions of a man who clearly does not respect the traditions of internal practices and lineages.

3 pointsWhile I realise that this thread might be cathartic or therapeutic for some of the posters on here, for most of us it just serves as a warning not to have anything to do with anyone involved. I think it might be worth while thinking about what exactly the purpose of all this bickering online is. As a moderator I am considering locking the thread as I don’t want the board consumed by this dispute. A.

3 pointsThis is so sad to see. I've been training with Rudi for about 4 years now. Genuine, stand up guy. His interest in helping with all aspects of health and training is undeniable.
-
3 pointsNo, but if you learned from me for 10 years, I would cost you £6000 total, to learn advanced levels they will never teach, and you already spent $55k, most of which you spent on gengmenpai trips flying back and forth. Online isn't perfect but it's accessible. To make it even more accessible, i dropped the initial seminar cost. If you take the 6 Month Vitality Restoring course which is only £59 a month (no joining fee), the core neigong course is only £58 a month (no joining fee) which includes all teaching, all levels. and once you are doing with all levels, access to the school and my training for life for free. This is my job, I need to earn money, but I am being as generous as I can be. I also do in person seminars, 5 days of daily treatment and channels adjustment/opening with all herbs and everything included with review and additional teaching every day for $1500 total, no upselling at all. Something that is optional to help students on top of all the online assistance. Some might say this is expensive but I have tons of expenses to cover when holding such events, it's at least reasonable. Not being defensive, just thought I would put it out there in case anyone didn't know. Also Don't confuse assisted faqi with real progress. For instance, Blake from the USA, is starting to be able to do solo faqi in his clinic, without me or master zhou around to open channels or help in any way. That is real progress, that comes from what I teach and do. I am actually going to do an interview with him this coming week and post online talking about this huge achievement and the insane benefits it's bringing his clinical results. Showing actual clinical results and feedback from his local patients. A few others are also able to do this but they would prefer to remain unnamed. I teach legit methods.

3 pointsHi Boreas, I'm glad you've completed your treatment and have resumed your FP Qigong practice. Here are answers to your questions (in bold): 1) Should I keep a gentle focus on the lower abdomen while doing opening 3 breaths and during breath formulas? • Yes, it's always optimal to breathe diaphragmatically, expanding the lower belly on the inhalation. And for most practitioners, that calls for a gentle focus on the tan tien (dantien)--not only during the 3 priming breathes, but also during the performance of the breath-control formula. And this is true especially for those who do not have a kung fu or Tai Chi background already. 2) Regarding formula part in itself, after inhaling my 100% and exhaling X%, do I need on the next inhale to breathe in same X% and exhale 100% at same speed? Said another way, should I keep "counting my potatoes" ? Or do I just breathe in and out calmly without counting? • Yes, after you exhale X%, you then inhale the X% for the same duration (at the same speed). The exhale 100%, inhale 100% --both at the same speed-- and the the next percentage exhalation. yes, keep counting "potatoes" with each full (100%) breath and each X-percentage breath exhalation and X-percentage inhalation. You're most welcome. Happy New Year. Sifu Terry https://www.taichimania.com/chikung_catalog.html terencedunn.substack.com

2 pointsEven this is false information. It's only free if you don't have a blockage and that is maybe 1/10 people. You had to have multiple blockages removed because you kept having them come back through incorrect lifestyle so they are easy to develop in this day and age. If someone goes on this trip, expecting it to be free, having paid their flight and hotel, then gets given a $10k medical bill or they aren't allowed to learn, then it's a big issue. You have to be completely transparent with such things because flights and hotels aren't cheap. Someone is already $1500 out of pocket just going on the trip. You cannot keep giving people verifiably false information. I have been on 30+ trips to Master Jiang Feng and Brother Wu, I am talking from experience here and many can chime in that this is the case. Don't misunderstand my message here, I am in no way saying there is anything wrong with the service that brother wu offers, blockages must be cleared or training isn't safe. I have a lot of respect for the blood clearing methods used and feel they are extremely useful. I hold a degree in TCM and sometimes use blood melting pills with some patients personally so i know it works. What I am saying is wrong is not making people aware of this from the offset.

2 pointsAs you can see, him being all for locking it gives him an escape out of his actions. Locking it benefits deception and makes life harder for earnest seekers going forward. Please allow people to have their say, to give their opinions on the situation and in doing so, help others make informed choices about teachers and methods out there. This is hopefully something daobums stands for. Helping new seekers find their way and not into the trap of those who would be dishonest. I am not bashing or flaming someone here, I am providing evidence showing that deception is taking place.
-
2 pointsI feel it serves a pretty useful purpose in making people aware of someone actively promoting themselves falsely and teaching stolen practices without having any permission to do so. YouTube comments can be deleted and this at least spreads awareness that deception is being used in the videos and the training offered in done so by someone without the experience to help should something go wrong. I feel by locking it you would be doing new seekers a disservice.
-
2 pointsOuch! $55k down the drain, banned from 2 schools, and no more future prospects. Who in their right mind would teach you advanced practices after all this? All it took to fix the situation was to give credit where it’s due. Should’ve just invest that money into stocks, you could’ve been a millionaire by now.

2 pointsI've never learned from rudi and don't know too much about gengmenpai but this reminds me of a lot of other situations that resulted in lineages being completely closed to the west There's a stereotype out there, all westerners will take your sacred techniques and sell them as well as the masters personal info to the highest bidder without any regard for the lineage The behavior from neigongdisciple is not helping to beat the allegations lol

2 pointsBelow, a revised translation of a brief discussion on the Way of the Elixir or Alchemical Way authored few days ago by a Taoist master under his pen name Jiliao Shanfu. "What qualifies as an "alchemical classic" (丹经) contains at least 85% coded language. Words are merely a vehicle, not the true meaning, the true meaning lies entirely beyond the words. The Wuliu Xianzong (五柳仙宗), which appeared later, is the most "accessible" alchemical classic, yet the author explicitly forbids his successors from making its commentary, saying that whoever comments and annotates is wrong. At the same time, for certain explanations in the book that are relatively detailed, specific, and seemingly very important, the author often negates them with phrases like "the term is right but the method is not," "the term is right but the secret formula is not," "the term is right but the thing is not," "the term is right but the fire is not," and also says: "How can secret formulas be clarified on paper?" A few days ago, I saw again some people giving lectures about alchemical classics without real practice, and I spontaneously wrote several small poems and one short text, as follows. Brief Discussion on the Alchemical Way (by Jiliao Shanfu) Some people may have read a few alchemical classics and already think themselves experts in the Alchemical Way and its cultivation, so they go everywhere giving lectures on alchemical classics. Decades ago, I heard from my senior brother, my master, my master-uncle, and my grand-master that such people are called "alchemical classic baskets" (丹经篓子). A leaky basket cannot hold water, if you force water into it, it will necessarily spill everywhere, leak everywhere, drip everywhere, turning the ground into a real quagmire. "Alchemical classic baskets" have not necessarily taken the time to cultivate themselves step by step with a calm heart, yet they preach alchemical classics everywhere, peddle the notion of the Mysterious Pass (玄关) in all places, speak illusorily of "the single opening of the Mysterious Pass," which has caused "cultivation" to spread like a flood among humans, seriously deviating from the spirit of the Alchemical Way. All who truly cultivate never make a display of their cultivation. All who have entered even slightly into the gate of the Alchemical Way never speak of the Alchemical Way. Everything that deserves to be called an alchemical classic necessarily contains coded language, and the true meaning does not reside in the words themselves. Thus, if one has not obtained the true methods and secret formulas, even if you read the alchemical classics until they're completely worn out, recite them backwards by heart, or carefully analyze every word and study them diligently, you will inevitably take the wrong path. Regarding the characteristic of coded language in alchemical classics, the sages of the past already left teachings: "The last sentence cannot be spoken," "After obtaining the secret formula, one returns to read books with benefit," etc. Once the secret formula is obtained, one suddenly realizes: the words of alchemical classics are just an "empty bowl," they serve to "contain rice," they are absolutely not the "rice" itself, so they absolutely cannot fill the "belly." One also understands: the Mysterious Pass is neither inside the body nor outside the body, it does not leave the inside of the body, nor does it leave the outside of the body. Thus, those who preach alchemical classics and those who respectfully listen to these preachings are all in the situation of "talking about food all day long without ever feeling repleted," and even more "their two feet truly cannot leave the ground, yet they speak in vain of riding mists and mounting clouds." Among the masters of all eras and the true immortals who attained the Way, who accomplished themselves by relying on alchemical classics? It's like with craftsmen: even a simple carpenter who doesn't know a single character can clearly explain carpentry work, whereas those "theoretical baskets" who know many characters, have read many books, but have never touched adze, chisel, axe, or saw—their words truly don't deserve to be remembered. Since ancient times, people of great aspiration who truly cultivate and truly realize, before obtaining the secret formula, rely on alchemical classics, after obtaining the secret formula, they completely abandon alchemical classics. Hence the saying: Before having obtained the true secret formula, words are all a support, after having obtained the true secret formula, words are all a burden. Since ancient times, all who have succeeded in cultivating the Way have necessarily gone through a process of ten years, twenty years, or even a lifetime visiting enlightened masters to seek methods and secret formulas, but ultimately, those who obtain the secret formulas remain extremely rare. Master Sanfeng (Zhang Sanfeng) only met the True Man Fire Dragon (Huolong Zhenren) at the age of 73 to receive the transmission of secret formulas, and afterwards he attained the Way and returned to Authenticity. The great aspiration of people today has shifted elsewhere. The atmosphere of visiting enlightened masters and seeking secret formulas, still common thirty years ago, is becoming ancient history, becoming the "hearsay" of outsiders who will study insiders in the future. Moved by this atmosphere of "refusing to practice, only loving to preach," "luring sacred roots into ordinary soil," between sadness and sighs, I composed the following small poems. The Mysterious Opening (two poems) First: The mysterious opening connects Heaven and Earth, Its crossroads joins the root of Creation. The lineage of immortals values return to simplicity, To enter sainthood, one depends on this gate. Second: The mysterious opening connects Heaven and Earth, Deep within it hides the light of sun and moon. Concentrating the spirit to contemplate that celestial palace, The empty chamber reflects true constancy. Appearances of "Cultivation" (five poems) First: Great men discuss methods and formulas, Discoursing on paper about longevity. Yet both their feet struggle to leave the ground, While they speak only of affairs above the clouds. Second: Those who cultivate the Way are as numerous as grains of river sand, Their passionate fervor shakes the heavens. Though they harbor ambitions as vast as mountains and seas, They refuse to abandon their worldly attachments. Third: Having pierced through tens of thousands of alchemical classics, Marvelous theories overflow in rivers and lakes. Learning fills a thousand carts to the brim, Yet not a single one truly comprehends the Way's path. Fourth: Marvelous theories scrutinizing Heaven, discoursing on cultivation, One sees only luxury and splendor, never real merit. Talking about food all day long yet never satisfied, Boasting of dreams within dreams, all becomes empty in the end. Fifth: Ten thousand alchemical classics discussed on paper, Cloud poetry and paintings—a sky at the bottom of a well. A thousand scenes become a thousand obstacles, The Way in the void is naturally itself."

1 pointSome newbie teaching advanced practices could cause unsuspecting people to develop deviations, especially when said newbie has zero TCM knowledge or experience in fixing deviations. If keeping this thread open can save 1 person from potential deviation, it’s a no brainer.

1 pointThank you. Yeah I have no idea why he posted it, doesn't do him any favours. Even the ones of me being upset and criticizing Brother wu, I never posted my opinion publicly. He now effectively brought into the public. Not a smart move as even though it's my opinion, he is the one spreading it. It's not like it's new to any of my students that the relationship isn't good. I adored Master Jiang Feng, but me and brother wu just didn't click.
-
1 pointI literally just asked him to note in the video descriptions that he is a student of my school. I do not feel like I was being unreasonable and my tone was calm and respectful. The first time I saw his 3 months to supposedly faqi I was a little upset which is why some of the screenshots show me upset. It felt like a huge slap in the face to not mention me at all. I did not want this to turn ugly but you cannot let people steal and do what they want with zero consequences regardless of feeling sorry for him. The reason he was asked to post his full conversation history with me was to show how many times in the past I went out of my way to help him, out of my way to give him special treatment. That is why he won't post it and I don't want to beat a dead horse by posting more now. I genuinely help where I can and I don't hold anyone back unless it becomes clear that they have alterior motives. For instance his first message to me which I had forgetten about, giving him 3 months break from payment because he just lost his job, without him needing to ask. I also told him not to even worry about making up the missed payments. People online want to paint me as this horrible angry miserable person, but this just isn't the case. I don't let anyone walk over me, but I certainly go out of my way to help anyone who needs it. I am sure anyone I kicked or removed will say negative things about me, but the vast majority will tell you I help where I am able.

1 pointSo to get things straight, you burned your bridges with both rudi and GMP And you're still trying to make claims against rudi on behalf of GMP? This is why you generally study ethics and conduct alongside your foundations training Its not even an esoteric issue this is just not how you treat people
-
1 pointBreathe and think about things. This is the consequence of disrespect. I am sorry you were kicked out but you disrespected two schools. Two schools that helped you from what I gather. Rudi from clearing you of any blocks and providing proper practice and Brother Wu who gave you exposure to demonstrate any ability in the first place. Give respect to the groups of people that helped you. Maybe you will find another lineage that can help you with your education. But right now, please be respectful.

1 pointWithout going into this case, I would like to know how teaching works in the west in general, online or not. If the teacher invented everything from scratch, then naturally the teacher should have the right of it, though not necessarily copyright. But if the teacher himself is somewhat an assembler/integrator of techniques or even their lineage gathered techniques from every corner over the ages, then do the students fully bound by the teachings or some written agreements in non-disclosure? And technically it would be very difficult to distinguish which is proprietary, does ZZ belong to a certain teacher? So what stops a student from opening a competing business within months as @cake1234566 said? I am saying this is because it was and probably is common in China for the diligent students to open new businesses after they learnt enough and created sufficient networks/relationships - right next door to the boss/master/teacher's premises. Of course it is not accepted morally.

1 pointThe sooner you back down and correct your behavior, the sooner repair begins. Please consider this—it will take more effort the longer you go down this path.

1 pointI’ve been around the block for about 25 or 30 years and I have seen major western schools come up and many western schools close down (some legitimate, others not so legitimate). From the days of the wenwunkan (and the foundation training school opened by David Verdesi in 06) to other ancillary schools that hope to teach eager westerners for whatever reason (usually a gateway to GMP or other TLD or what not). There’s always a few people who tend to steal the teachings of another and try to market it to either teach or make some extra money. Or to become special Regardless I do agree that the behaviour of neigongdisciple isn’t making the opinion very good. It seems like it is validating almost everything Rudi has said. It also completes a picture of his/her journey of sorts too - one that excluded the person that put you in contact with the healers in the first place. Whether it is martial arts, learning to cook, or even schooling, it is important to give respect and thanks to where you learned from (even if it was a pretty bad place). My large concern with what neigongdisciple has said is I don’t think respect is monetary actually. I’m not sure where this message indicated that a simple I learned from these teachers would require a financial recompense. This does create a large misconception from the messages you have shared of what Rudi asked for. That being to be honest about where you learned from. You were honest that you learned from Wu, correct? You referenced Brother Wu, did he pay you? Did you ask for that level of agreement? I would imagine if you did he would’ve laughed or asked one of the senior students to handle you. Perhaps the sentence here is something you didn’t mean when you typed it which if that’s the case it is fair and a misunderstanding of things. However, it not only makes you seem like the person that is money hungry, but it also makes you seem like your journey is for monetary recompense (and that’s ignoring the other major issues discussed by lineage heads and their tudi). Another troubling aspect of the post is: I watched a few of your videos surprisingly enough and you called the dan tians the same as chakras. That may have been an innocent mistake perhaps but they’re not the same. But it would appear in some of your videos you’re combining things in ways that shouldn’t be combined especially from gengmen pai. We are told to never sit in full lotus (for instance) because the channels in legs aren’t fully opened (for instance). There are several other misconceptions and inconsistencies I see in your videos. Are you sure the statement you are arguing in response to Rudi isn’t telling on yourself? True you may not be opening up a school, but you do have a small following of people who want to learn what you know and do what you can do (or at least get to the point to where they feel like they can). By being intellectually dishonest about some of these things and other aspects (e.g. not thanking other teachers and what not), aren’t you being a bit insincere and selfish? Especially in a place where everyone helps each other? I sadly see this going down a very dangerous path. One I have seen countless times in fact. A person with a bit of skill branches out and is not transparent concerning the how they got the skill teach others practices that will do very little beyond getting a bit of foundation. Anyone who was involved in the early 00s knows what I am talking about. Before any of that happens, try to actually make amends and show the proper respect because from what I gather without Rudi you wouldn’t even be connect to GMP or other healers. And it shouldn’t have to take such a public outing for it to happen. There should be something inside of you that wants to be thankful for what you have and the people who have helped you along the way. We are never really doing this work alone. And we have people that help us out. Even if we have bad experiences, we are still thankful for what they have done. Be thankful for what Rudi has done for your development because it seems like he did a great job. Other GMP guys in our Romanian/Greek group also are thankful for what Rudi has done too

1 pointIt is more of a preparation exercise, not cultivation in itself. Being able to focus on one thing for 30 mins without any thoughts arising or attention jumping is the base requirement for beginners to start practicing cultivation. It is often taught in day 1 practices in many schools. It is good if you have that - but you would still need proper cultivation practices/guidance and everything else. As you progress there are a lot of different exercises/practices to explore with varying difficulty and prerequisites. You can still your mind and concentrate - great, now go do an actual work. A daily baseline for what purpose? Being hard does not mean it is meaningful or promotes cultivation. Self-harm is hard due to natural survival instinct, but it will not turn you into an adept or a cultivator. Not eating for a month is a case of self-harm. You don't have to wait 4-hours for attention to turn inward, that is just physically brute-forcing a simple mental action that takes zero time or effort. I have seen some of those "advanced daoist - secret teacher - mysterious lineage - practitioners" that sit for 12+ hours without movement or going to the toilet, because that is how they can get meditation to work for them. Hopefully you enjoy your life and existence on our planet, and do not traumatize yourself over the imaginary/made-up cultivation baseline standards, that lead absolutely nowhere.
-
1 pointIn the above interview, you can see how he dodges the question. Stephen started neigong kneegong with me in April 2022 and I took him to meet various teachers over the years helping him to recover his health. He was a student of mine, till 2 days ago when I kicked him for trying to steal practices and teach without permission. I can provide screenshots of the actual conversation that took place if needed. So, it took him about 3 years to faqi with assistance, which is about average. He was my student for 3 years and 9 months, training my methods and I have old message from him to back this up when he messaged me to tell me how happy he was and how his faqi was so much stronger than others despite them training longer due to what I teach. (Don't quote me on this yet, will go confirm the exact wording) Also, only someone hiding something deletes messages and doesn't just respond to them. It should be fairly obvious to anyone here that I can provide tons of evidence to expose all his lies.
