  1. It has been awhile.  Hope you're doing well, really well and that we hear from you soon.  Cause you're a great member and person.

  2. 9th, you've been trolling and spamming my threads recently.  I've reported you a couple time..  Doubt there'll be much action, but little things add up.

If you don't like what I post,  don't read them, or simply don't post to them.

WTF, I didn't call you out.  I'd prefer if you didn't respond.  Especially if all you've got is spam and trolling.

  3. Hi.. could you tell me if this is working?  https://www.zeemaps.com/map?group=2826065

can you put a pin point on your location (if you want) and does it stick.  Note its good to use Simple addition so you don't need an exact address.

I just did it, and it didn't take til I went back in and renamed myself.

    Thanks

    Michael

Hey michael, i see your location and i found my location, but im not seeing how to put a pin on it

On the upper left hand side the third choice is Additions.   Clicking that and going down to Simple Addition, should give you the ability (I hope to drop down a pinpoint of your name).

I chose to use my first name and my screen name, ie Michael (thelerner) .

  4. I appreciate your input in the Serious Mo Pai thread.  But I still hid it.  You bring up a good point, but too early.  I plan for this thread, if it survives, to be tightly on point.

Right now that's sitting in Mo Pai.  After this breathing and where one puts there mind and concentration.  Tiny details bit by bit.

Also a confession.  I haven't read Jim's book, other then a few pages people have quoted from.   Thus I'm looking at this as a newby, having people walk me through it, slowly step by step.

Its inevitable and can't be stopped by I hope to minimize the various books.  Hoping we can get consensus on the simple things.

  5. They don't worry about what they can't control. That's why they're always satisfied.

  6. "give a man a beer and he'll waste an evening...teach a man to brew and he'll waste a lifetime."

  7. 'We forgot the Game wasn't Real'- I like this

  8. Sorry to see the controversy swirling. From my perspective you've been nothing but honorable.

    Sincerely Michael

  9. Feeling..edgy lately

  10. Good to see you back online :)

  11. I have Chronicles of Tao by Deng Ming Dao. Must admit I couldn't get into it, felt too cliche'd throughout. PM me where you are. Perhaps there is a book we can trade. I collect guided meditations, meditative music, etc.,

  12. Hope your not serious about taking leave of the board. You're a good writer and deep thinker. Ofcourse you're going to get stung when you bring up a religions sexual misdeeds.

So what, you had your say, maybe opened the eyes of some idealistic people. Got others blood pressure up. Comes with the territory.

Hope you stick around, the board needs experienced ...

  13. Enjoining your posts. Wanted to add that I sent a report to the mods on Vmarco, immediately and repeatedly writing 'Dog' comments in your 'Love' thread after you nicely and explicitly asked him not to.

I find that the definition of Troll. Maybe I'm over stepping my bounds, but I found it very annoying.

  14. I ask because I have a 'Best of' Kunlun paper that I collected over the years from the old Official Kunlun site and other sources including the Tao Bums.

The Kunlun site was only for people who'd done a seminar with Max. He ended it unfortunately, so much of the info there is lost. If you'll keep it private I would be willing to email you a copy of it.

    Since...

  15. You asked 'Have you seen the pictures of Ya mu and his teacher doing SM-Neigong? '

Yup went to one of his seminars last year. Very impressive.

  16. You have the best animated avatar I've seen.

  17. I won't be able to go to the Wudang event but I really hope you give us a write up about what it was like.

I read Master Chens blog at wudangtao.com.

I like his work and words and I believe he's authentic, but as Westerner its hard to really be sure. Even if not his words seem wise to me. Do you know of him and his organization.

    Thanks

    Michael

  18. FWIW you're handling the Dramas well. Its not easy being point man. I'm sure we'll all look back on this and laugh. Especially when I write the best seller The Dhrama Bums. :)

  19. I like your sense of humor. And I'm another Libra/scorpio cusp (not that I believe in that sorta thing) also just found out I'm a wood dragon.

  20. Don't even Think about leaving. Your insights are needed here. :)

  21. "Me more advanced that you??? Crap dude I think you might need to revise that position  "

Too humble dude. The breadth and depth of knowledge of Taoism is impressive, but you're no intellectual scholar. You're deeply involved in the physical (Tai Ji) and mystical (I Ching).

    Janitor indeed, more like ambassador.

Resonated almost all the way with your message on 'What's your favorite?" Nice flow too.

Thanks but.. I was just copying a post from someones personal discussion thread. The post really resonated w/ me too. It'd be great if I could go beyond liking and further into living it.

    What books have you written.

  23. Ha ha, you were -labeled- a Conservative!! Live long enough and they'll call you just about anything.

  24. Quick thought

I find your writings invaluable. Spiritual writings informed by experience and maturity.

  25. 'The Gods Drink Whiskey' is one of the rare books I picked up at the library and was so impressed with I had to buy it. Beyond the excellent travel story, the depth of Buddhist philosophy that slips in is amazing.
