I love to listen to this now and again. Just to remember when I started to live.

My son introduced me to The Longest Johns.  He absolutely loves em and has learned a few and has the foundation of a good baritone.

He has no idea I used to sing chantey's as part of a barbershop foursome back in my early theater days.  We mostly went to retirement homes and sang for free, but also booked gigs for a few years after word got out.

Now I get to revisit them them with my boy... pure awesome.

Ken McLeod's "Wake Up Your Life".  He won me in the 90's with his translation of the Lojong practice:

A sampling of his audiobook:

This guy is the real deal, and has the education, training AND depth of understanding about the nature of reality WITH a natural ability to communicate it that few have. Some of this audio book is available, above, on Youtube. Listen and see what I mean. Followed carefully, this is a very real guide into where to look for insight into the nature of reality - nothing is left out.

get round the fire with a glass of strong ale
and tell us a story from beyond the pale
bury some seeds and expect some strong branches

I'll tend to the flame, you can worship the ashes...
