Best candidate country for country of Enlightened Wizards/Mages/Shamans

Recommended Posts

In order to change and evolve the world, one must change and evolve one country first.

If a country of Enlightened Wizards/Mages/Shamans can be created where every man, woman and child is taught the ways of Enlightenment since birth, then this country can change and evolve the whole world by providing an example of a system when the young are constantly taught Enlightenment instead of all the bullshit you find in universities nowadays.

I suspect the only country in the world which can become a country of Enlightened Wizards/Mages/Shamans is Japan. Why do I say Japan?

Because Japan has one of the longest, most prevalent spiritual heritage around in the world. There are so many temples in Japan which show the level of faith which the Japanese have. It also show that there is a much higher number of meditators than anywhere else in the world.

Japan has also this tradition of purity. Of cleansing your soul, mind and spirit in your everyday life. Purity and Virtues are extremely important attributes for a seeker. There is no other country in the world which stress so much importance on purity and cleanliness as Japan.

Lastly, I find Japanese women to be purer in spirit and mind than other women in the world. Not saying all Japanese women are saints but it is just that they are cleaner and purer. Shinto, the Japanese state religion, has this tradition of hiring virgin Japanese girls as Mikos or temple helpers.

Most women in the west are automatically taught by the western media to embrace sex as a "cool" thing. They are taught that if you are not sexy to men, then you are uncool and unworthy as a woman. However this deviant school of thought is what defiles most women in the west.

Chinese women are out because they are too greedy for money. And I am talking about Chinese women of every country-HK, China, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia.

Korean women eat too much meat.

Indian/Thai/SEA women have no tradition of purity at all. Have you ever been to India/Thailand and SEA? There is simply no tradition of keeping everything clean.

Women represent half of any country's population. Also they are the teachers of the next generation of young. If the women of a particular country are screwed up, then you can be rest assured that the next generation will also be screwed up.

Lastly, the Japanese flag is the flag of the Sun. There is only one country in the world whose national flag is the flag of the Sun and we all know that the Sun is the most powerful, mystical being in our solar system.

Based on all the above arguments, if any country has the best chance of becoming a country of enlightened wizards/mages/shamans, it would be Japan.

OBJECTION!

Japan is the worst choice as it is now because of Tokyo. Tokyo influences all of Japan and is huge. It's like the worst version of New York. Even though some Shinto traditions are a part of normal lives of many people, nothing comes out of that.

Japan is the place with the biggest porn industry in the world.

Schoolgirl prostitution, the way it is in the open, and how normal it is for Japan.

And the crime, only Japanese yakuza doesn't hide from the law. The yakuza and gangs are are normal part of culture. Yakuza has actual offices with the names of their group typed out on them and the police knows it. The yankee culture makes the teenagers fight each ocher and commit crimes to see who's tougher. One of the offshots of the gang culture are the biker gangs. Sometimes such things like yakuza and gangs are glorified in the media like manga comics where perversion is also OK.

Japan has some of the highest suicide rates in the world, why? because they have a huge cultural issue with shame, which is a destructive, sick neurosis within their society; every society has their demons which need healing.

You'll travel a long way to find anywhere with more wizards, shamans and assorted trades per head of population than you'll find in the religious and cultural melting pot of Malaysia. That said wherever anyone lives, if that is the sort of thing that they are looking for, then they'll find it pretty locally.

On the contrary this is a good thing. You need shame in order to change and evolve. If you are not shameful of your sins, then you would never change and evolve and how is that a good thing?

Malaysia do not have these concepts of purity and honour which the Japanese possess. If anything, Japan has a even more varied cultural mix than Malaysia despite the fact that it doesn't have such a diverse racial mix like Malaysia. This is because Japan, despite its closeness, have never fail to integrate elements of other cultures which are worth keeping.

If you explore spirituality in Japan, you would find the origins of its spirituality come from many different sources in other countries.

It's not like Japan is trying to emulate the US, it already did emulate the US and added to it. The deal is done and there is needed a lot of undoing to make the one percent of pure spirituality a majority.

They still have that one percent because of their stubborn attitude. They don't like outsiders but they like the nice things they have and once they have that, they won't give it up. It's better to choose US, it's already changing by its own will.

Is there not prostitution, porn and nigger gangs in the US? The reason why Japan has such a thriving prostitution and porn industry is that it seeks to emulate the US.

.

Really? Sexism is just not enough for you is it...

I'm in one of such gangs; however, we use calculators instead of guns, and we argue over physics problems rather than turf. ^_^

Instinctively, I thought Australia might be a good place for high level wizards. Aussies, what do you say?

I know Oz has at least one.

Sunlover you may want to edit your earlier message a bit. Your prejudices are showing a bit more nastily then usual.

Feels like a mental masturbation question anyway. Which country first to go All Wizard :)? Geez, pass the hash pipe around before I vote for the one trapped in my finger tips, man.

People is people, getting too far into comparisons fertilizes the ego something awful. That's not to say there isn't differences, but imo the best way to get through life is by dropping prejudices and taking people one at a time as individuals. Otherwise your attitudes, body language, speech will create the very prejudice in others you imagine.

I was just at the Chicago Burning Man decompression party. I'm pretty middle class straight laced, but it was a pleasure to be surrounded by people in colorful steampunk wear. I hate the techno music, but I caught the groove and let go of my 'taste'. I'm relatively shy, but its fun to play bartender, share and listen. Drinking and dancing was also a plus.

Its an amazing world and most people are pretty good if you give'em half a chance and meet them half way. Try not to judge so harshly.

..but if I had to vote I'd second Australia (or New Zealand). Great friendly people there who know how to live. Make them wizards and there'd be shrimp on the barbie all across the world and the only enemy would be the damn baby eating dingo's.

I haven't been there myself, but I say India. Not perfect, but many people there have been raised in spiritual culture from birth.

...by the way. The Indians that I know seem to place a lot of value on being well educated. More misunderstandings of what spirituality is about, SunLover.

You are so sexist, I find it offensive by now. Do you have to write some nonsense about women in every post of yours even if the topic is not about women?

CHILL OUT mate !

Japan is much like many of the old European countries, they are like rigid inflexible old men set in their ways, with aging population, low birth rate, stagnation in many areas. It is very difficult for anything particularly new like a new spiritual system to enter these countries. Many people thought the USA could have been this country to create a new dawn, it was a young dynamic country open to new ideas, but that energy seems to have been hijacked by other forces. But such a country already existed in Tibet where something like 70% of the population were monastic at one point, they were completely pacified with no army, no war, little crime and most people working towards enlightenment, but it all came crashing down which shows that the rest of he world catches up with you in the end and levels you out , so it is difficult for one country to go ahead ofthe rest of the world as it is so interconnected, which is why many groups have to be :ninja: .

The more that is posted in his thread, the more the troll gets fed. Let's just assume that anyone spouting racist, sexist and elitist garbage is the universes way of offering us a chance to witness and let go of the same.

I.E. Sunlover, by whatever name he posts under, will fade away when undernourished of attention.

Ever heard of toxic shame, and the reason why most people are addicted, including spiritual addiction.

Sunlover my friend, emptiness, awareness, nothingness..your talks of purity seem to be a hypocrisy of these sexist, racist, elitist remarks you make...embrace your shadow, dont fight it...it doesnt mean you will start to killing people or some crap, most likely it will free your energy making you a higher energy person.

Sunlover (or do you prefer Tulku?),

Japan is about the least spiritual country on the face of the Earth right now. Korea and Japan produce more porn than every other country on the face of the Earth combined. In Japan they had to start running special trains and buses for women in order to stop the overwhelming incidents of rape and fondling on their rapid transit systems. Did I mention that during Rape of Nanking the Shinto and Buddhist priests you so love actually told the soldiers that it was their duty to rape and kill the Chinese because they were no better than dogs? Many monks left the monastery to fight in the wars and help with the raping and killing. (Hmm... now that I think about it, with all your previous misogynist comments, maybe that's why you like them so much?) Anyways there are very few pious Shinto and Buddhists in Japan anymore. Those boy's that go to join the monasteries these days, aren't the best and brightest, but more often than not, the bottom of the barrel. They couldn't make it into High School, so their parents sent them to the monastery.

You've got some really juvenile and disturbing ways of viewing things. You might want to go see a doctor and talk about these issues. You're obviously incapable of separating reality from fact, or at the very least from your own obsessions.

Aaron

edit- You should really count your lucky stars, because you're not fooling anyone about who you really are. I'm sure the mods know, but for some reason they choose to ignore it. Perhaps your constant grabs for attention and hate mongering bring in a good deal of revenue for the site? Who knows.

Well of course you all know in your heart of hearts that England is the best country certainly on earth if not in the entire universe, That's how it was ordained to be by God (who is English of course).

Rule Britannia and all that but I do feel that every other one of these pleasant little nations mentioned here already, deserves equal second place.

:)

PS Thought I saw the n word earlier.

Yet he sparks the longest threads and within them some good things and humorous ones develop. So god bless him, as long as he does no harm to himself or others. He's an odd spice that adds something to the mix. He's our official shock jock :).

I think that the heading of this thread is a little bit strange. Engligtened Wizards, Mages, Shamans? Some of the Shamans are positive but Wizards and Mages? I do not think there are good Wizards or Mages.

If you are asking the enlightened people which are a few people in a whole country, as far as I know, I have to tell Turkey. Meanwhile, I also love and respect Japan much more than China and Korea but these are personal feelings.
