Buddha speaks!

When his observation of original nature is no more.

Where lies the source and power of a word?

The original source of the pot is not the clay

but in the thought of its creation by the potter.

The source and power of a word is not its sound or meaning

it is the intent the speaker uses it for.

I look up and stare at the sky and stars in awe.

Does anything gaze back at me?

Does anything gaze back at me?

The same someone who gazes at stars seeks within...

Is there any different intent then wonder and awe's power to have their own quest to be satisfied?

(Answers are sought through mist and foggy Questions, even when those questions carry wieght, the power of wonder and awe - as it were - is a seminal force... is that jing? The power of expectant life, held within and nurtured?) - sorry I digress -

Where does our love go, when our jing is stored within ourselves?

Where does our love go, when our jing is stored within ourselves?

The jing bounces in the palace

heated and frustrated.

Love and anger flip like a coin.

The effort exhausts itself and

jing is released.

Or best of all Jing sublimates -

We truly love ourselves and

reflect it like a star.

A scholar walks up to a holy man says

"I spit on your traditions" and spits at him.

What does the holy man do?

He says, "Would you like a cup of tea!"

The students asks, "Master what would you do if you walked around the corner and there was a man with a shotgun?"

How does the Master answer?

Koan has been proved to be an unsuccessful way of leading people , at least most people , to Enlightenment. On the contrary , in most cases, it leads people to reasoning , guess ,small tricks..etc .

Its failure is one of the reasons why the Pure Land school rises.

From Taoist point of view , the jing-qi-shen method is more reliable .

Silence.

My dog has Buddha nature but won't come when I clap one hand. Why is this?

Because you even put a cat on a leash! Poor dog is probably terrified :)

When I look in a mirror, what looks back?

Frivolous reply

My evil twin from an alternate dimension.

Modern logical

No thing looks back, its just an image from a nanosecond ago.

Modern Buddhist?

Feedback as awareness focuses on a physical image that carries it around.

Who is writing this?

No, Who is on first,

It's Why thats important

If the universe is real

and I am fake

(just moment by moment perception)

then

how do I relate to the world?

If:

2 X 0 = 0

2 X ∞ (infinity) = ∞ (infinity)

Does 0 = ∞ ?

If 0=0

& 0=+ an infinite number of things & - an infinite number of things

Then does that mean when we go from seeing the world in duality to seeing one single thing...

that we realize that 0 (Nothing) made everything, (instead of "God")?

What is the everything that is not God.

Answer: See? Even God can afford to be enlightened.

The third one from the center.

Now lets get back to my koan.

The answer you gave was lacking in understanding.

God is everything but everything is not God.
