I keep getting upset for being misread in this thread, and I will abandon it, but before I do: who told you I have no field experience with kunlun? I never offer opinions about things I have no experience with. I've never said a single word about Spring Forest, KAP, Winn, Chang, anyone or anything I can't base on experience. Chill yourself, you're too good-looking to need a high hat!

No one ever said you didn't have field experience and I personally don't know what you do, so I cant say it. What i said was simply in the context of a "saying so to speak" much like the sayings such as; "You Can Lead a Horse to Water but You Can't Make Him Drink" and other such classics as; “Those who do not read are no better off than those who cannot.”

 

But I can now share in your feeling of being misread now it seems.

 

Btw I was actually thinking about buying a high hat, but with that comment I might just stick with another fedora, or maybe a Top hat? I already own a cowboy hat. Hats are awesome.

I love that Father Ted show, so funny.

 

Scotty, It's all good. At one stage I really wanted to get into Kunlun and be with Max's 1st generation students. So sometimes it gets to me that I'm stuck on the wrong side of the world and isolated from that.

 

But it does make sense. If you want to learn someone system i.e. Max's Kunlun your best bet is to talk to people who have gone through the appropriate training needed to bring the Kunlun to you in the most efficient way.

There's lot of good info in spite of the bickering on this thread and Jackass with his attempt to sound "cool" is instead sounding puky. I'll agree there, I changed my last response, but I'm seeing you're pretty damned either way on this stuff.

 

I'll keep in mind in the future to just keep myself very far of away from all of this, and refrain from adding my two cents. Why winpro deletes his post are starting to make more and more since everytime I come here.

 

I'll just wait for winpro to make that one thread, and post about experience's there. I really wish people would get off their high horse with the whole "more advanced" bs. Cause I in all honestly could care less how much someone has does a practice more than I have, but asking them to leave their personal shit in PM isn't telling them how to live their life's. It's a simple request of curiosity of people who are just here to get information, not to see the dirty laundry of the students behind the practice.

So for the record... I emailed max the link and phoned him and left him a message. Here is his email response to me.

Sometimes people only see what they want to see. You guys are just giving KL a bad name and seem more concerned with your status. You each may feel you are doing justice to newbies but remember everything is perception. Max's advice is actually great and everyone should take it. I'm sure when Max said that he did not intend for his response to be posted (just to prove your his buddy?). How does stay away from TB translate to 'take my email response and post it at TB so everyone can see that you know my email'. You know, you guys should take a leaf out of Winpros book and delete your posts (unless your just to proud). I'm sure your TB friends will still think your great like TM... lol.

 

Remember people are just going to see the bickering and arguments here, is that what you want to portray of KL? Steve must literally have a massive erection right now (I wonder, if that gets the wrinkles out of it..). So, ok 5ET you are Max's great buddy we are very impressed. Scotty's comment rubbed a lot of people the wrong way (myself included) but I think it did come from an honest desire to help people.

 

5ET I note your IMHO over the top response to IMHO an evenly worded PRIVATE MESSAGE and I also note you didn't post your response that contained a threat but rather more PRIVATE MESSAGES that furthered your own agenda. That sort of thing really offends my sense of ethics. Consider yourself on a very short leash.

So let me get this straight, Mal... Since you are also airing your personal opinion in an official public moderator post... (conflict?) You were offended by my airing of a PM, where Scotty publicly aired my response to his PM so you find it necessary to publicly air your personal bias instead of telling me through a PM. Why didn't you find it personally ioffensive for him to air an out of context PM?

 

I chose to send a public message to let people know that the matter was under review.

 

I do apologize for the conflict of putting that moderator response and then tagging my personal opinion along as well. Like many things in this thread perhaps that was a hasty, rather than thoroughly thought out, response.

 

So yes I regret that.
