Vantage Posted December 31, 2007 (edited) I've been experimenting with not ejaculating now for a couple of months. So far I have not been able to get past 21 days. At that time I usually get a wet dream. So this is what i want to avoid. I want to make it past a month to see how that feels. What I will do every day: - 30 minutes zazen meditation - 6 tibetan rites - couple of minutes Ham-Sa - eat healthy and no caffeine - no porn, no masturbation. Any suggestions? just try sleeping on your side one night, if sleeping on the left doesn't feel comfortable go to the right; one will feel better than the other. if it feels unnatural just focus on your breathing and you'll fall asleep... don't be surprised if you wake up on your belly or in a weird position though lol, it takes time. qijack Posted December 31, 2007 (edited) I would say give up the 6 tibetan rites.These excersis build up alot of jing/energy in your lower centers, that eventually will need to be released if you dont know how to manage that energy correctly./edit ok just discovered your not that young:P I think take up Tai-Chi.That will move the energy away from your lower centers into your arms,legs etc.And teach you a whole lot more than the 6 tibetans could ever teach you.It helps me alot with controlling sexual urges Also i think its helpfull to sleep fully naked.That way you minimize any rubbing/pressure against your dick that might trigger wet dreams Not sure what ham-Sa is..Mind sharing? I think sleeping on my side will make a huge difference. If I can get myself to it. Will try tonight. Trunk Posted January 1, 2008 This might help some... If the upper torso has stored heat and tension, then jing is inhibited from naturally rising and mixing from the lower into upper torso. The various acupoints along the inside edge of the scapula and next to the spine, those points generally clear heat and stagnation from deep within the upper torso, and thus allow jing to come up into the torso more freely and nourish deeply. Yue Posted January 2, 2008 for me, doing kunlun seems to utilize the energy well. I agree. Kunlun takes the sexual energy you've built up and uses it to strengthen the bliss energy. It will start you in the direction of dream lucidity allowing "free will" to take hold in the randomness of the dream state which can be knee jerk, compulsive and full of "go to" habit patterns...
