Why is this apparent insanity so common among leftists these days? What happened to intellectualism?

A whole generation has been manipulated and is suffering psychological imbalance as a result.

Apparent?  No, not only apparent but factual.  Their way is the only acceptable way and there is no requirement for it to be logical or reasonable.

Yes, brainwashing and drug culture.

The man being yelled at is just standing there, while this person yells the most foul things he can think of at him, and then Mr Foulmouth yells at Mr CalmlyStanding about angry white men???

And this is real?

That is a sickening display. Time for someone to call the little white men in the little white suits.

And this is real?

I suspect this is happening on a daily basis across the US. There is something wrong with these people, where they're not able to see their own hypocrisy.

No kidding, I wonder if in his derranged mind he thinks he is black or something other than a pasty pale face?

This reminds me of news footage of stupid people back in the 1960’s screaming over stuff.

Calling someone's mother's womb rancid, and then talking about sexism is more than hypocritical imo.

How do you even reason with this?

Reason has left the room. That person is a raving loon.

wasn't sure where to put this so settled on here.  So to disagree with something on the right:

https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/fox-news-made-fun-alexandria-164400155.html

I don't agree with her socialist stance and not sure it is good for the left or if embraced pushes them more to the left... but the diversity of those elected brings new ideas which is good.

She is the youngest to be elected and that she is kind of in a bind over getting an apartment in DC is a real, tangible issue for her.  Fox should, instead of mocking her, offer to help her.    What is truly so hard about reaching across the isle...

I knew a long time employee of homeland security who built his house 'across the border' and commuted due to the insane housing costs in D.C.

She isn't the only one to find it difficult and/or a tax on resources. And I'm certainly not big on the redistribution of wealth or socialist agendas. This being said, she'll have a few rough months, and then she'll be fine. She was aware of these things ahead of time, and made her choices.

It's a sign that our elected officials have become disproportionately wealthy and privileged compared to the average American; instead of public servants, they've become a ruling class. Definitely not something to laugh about.

She apparently isn't actually in need of help:

Ocasio-Cortez claims she can't afford DC apartment, but records show she has at least $15,000 in savings

That might be her emergency fund (which is supposed to enable one to live without working for 6 months).

You mean exactly the situation she now funds herself in, and knew she would be in if she was elected?  ;)

I think the 3 months would wipe out her fund...and it's never a good idea to wipe it out! Not sure she knew about the time gap without a paycheck until recently.

Don't get me wrong, I think she's horrible...she is truly a socialist, evidenced by her recent complaints about Amazon.

I just view the DC apartment situation differently than most.

I also think it's possible that she could simply commute until paychecks came in - problem solved. After that point, well, she can stop complaining, because she'll be earning more than 3 normal people combined.

Interesting little talk on the moral roots of liberalism and conservatism.

The end was the best part imo..

Wonderful and well worth watching start to finish. Agreed the end is the best part but the rest makes it so.
