manitou Posted June 6, 2011 Thanks, Kempomaster, for taking the time to tell those stories. I'm really looking forward to the workshop in Springfield.

Thanks Ask them about the DVDs directly. From what I can tell, you would need to become a member to buy or receive them. https://stillnessmovement.com/learn/ It seems that they have removed DVD sales from public circulation, so that it doesn't get peddled around by uncommitted people. Michael Lomax has previously written that he would prefer people to send back the DVDs if they don't really practice the art he teaches.
hierundjetzt Posted July 10, 2021 Ah ok. I write them and am awaiting an answer. Patience is key :-) Thanks for your reply.

I wish to practice Michael's stuff for health and growth, but I can't find the DVD's that used to be available. All I see is workshops and expensive $600 memberships. I am out of work and have very little money and can't afford this. Does anyone still have these DVD's / videos they want to get rid of or sell? I don't see anything on youtube either. I don't see them online at all. I think I get the gist of stillness-movement from his book. You essentially relax and keep attention / awareness on the LDT and allow your body to move in any way that comes up. Is that pretty much all to it in simple describing? Too me, it looks kind of similar to kunlun in that you let whatever happens in the body to happen (minus the raised ankles and arm / hand placements). I will read up more here on this site to see if I can find out more about it. Gift of the Tao is another thing. I don't understand the movements from the book. Why are the videos / dvd's no longer available for people who don't want to or can't afford to buy a course / membership? If anyone has any info or access to the videos / DVD's, or a way I can practice, I would greatly appreciate it! Thank you!

Michael Lomax used to post here and always struck me as a compassionate, reasonable person.
