RyanO Posted December 3, 2010 Nice thread! One of mine is at Heavenly Mountain in the NC mountains where I worked this summer. There was a swimming hole nearby called the "Blue Hole", it was gorgeous. Water was cold but man it felt good! You could get a great kidney massage from the waterfall

Aaron Posted December 3, 2010 (edited) A couple of phone pics I took this summer, within walking distance: I get the feeling that I've seen this before. Seems familiar. Aaron edit- I don't see any fireplaces, so I'm thinking the Carolinas or Georgia perhaps? Edited December 3, 2010 by Twinner

rookie Posted December 4, 2010 (edited) The high desert of the mountain west, with the mountains, rivers and canyons. Finding spots where nobody has been, for a while at least. But especially red rocks, and big rocks....nourish the soul How do you insert a picture here? Do you have to use the url link thing? so put your pic on a webpage first? edit: the avatar pic is a view of the back side (west side)of the Maroon Bells Edited December 4, 2010 by rookie

Gerard Posted December 5, 2010 Rocks: Back home: Torro Crag. This rock is called Sirius Crag (also called The Lion) because it points directly at the Sirius star, where the oldest souls on Earth originally came from. The Bone The Sanctuary. One of my dear friends. The Little Elephant. Another friend.
Gerard Posted December 5, 2010 Mountains: Kailash. Abode to the devas. Belukha. Emeishan. One Thousand Buddha Summit. Mt Emei favourite dwelling place for Daoist herbalists and Buddhist & Daoist sanctuary. One of the birthplaces of my art, Bagua. Back home: One of my favourite mountain-valley areas. Meditating near a big wall. Forests: Back home again. Oza. The little known Natural Park of Alcornocales. Best preserved European forest. It still has the feeling what the continent was in the Middle Ages, when I last visited that place back in 1997. Ocean & Beach: Back home. Little known area almost uninhabited. Beach of the Dead so they call it. Lanzarote. Very special island.

Gerard Posted December 5, 2010 (edited) Gerard, beautiful photos! Emeishan is particularly awesome. Yes, Emeishan is a very special place. No wonder why many decide to abandon the ordinary world and become adepts after visiting the mountain. Especially if you come across "cute things" along the mountain tracks: When I said home I meant the country where I grew up. That is Spain. Will relocate to either Taiwan or mainland China after I finish my Bagua training here in Australia. Scotty, Gaia is an amazing place especially the closer we get to places where Qi is good and with harmonious Feng Shui.
