Yes, I did listen to both. I suppose that if I were younger I would have "gotten into" the heavier and draker rock. I was listening to Rock 'n' Roll before it had a name so I have been through a lot of its changes. I suppose I just got tired of changing. Hehehe. No, I'm not dead yet.

Now I will go listen to thhis last one you just put on and then share what I am listening to at the moment.

Okay, not as dark but still out of my league.

Listening to this guy right now: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VbdOEE5LvIw&feature=related

This guy is the guy who wrote most of the songs for Smiley Lewis: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qDKeAPonu_8&feature=related

He also wrote most of the songs this guy did: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s3M7-p0UGiM&feature=related

THanks for keeping it real, Marblehead, but the more I thought of your comment the more I thought about how much dark music I have listened to alot of blantant Satanic Metal, i have never been a satanist, but I would have no qualms admitting, but again, what I was getting at, is how much impact has this dark music made on me?

Now here is something I don't see anyone not getting inspired by, may be a bit to "heavy" for some, but i can feel the postive energy from this entire performance, Stevie Vai, Tony MacAlpine and Billy Sheehan on bass, not sure of the drummer and other guitar player's names, though.

It is worth giving a listen and that last song was pretty much a novelty song and not the best from their output.

Love me some Johnny Winter (Edgar too!)

I have only one album by each of them in my collection but they did put out some good Hard Rock music.

I am still in the mood for oldies today so right now I am listening to these folks:

Some of the best 'slow dance' music ever recorded.
