Thanks for all that. Do you have any more links from J.A. Johnson? The medical qigong ones I mean.

Dim Mak (Dian Hsueh) collection

The Defending Skills of Acupoint Pointing And Catching (1-3)

Dim Mak #1 (Dian Hsueh) Xie Zhi Kai

The FIRST of this series of DVDs on the art of Point Striking. The presenter has a bit of a circus barker personality and there is an occasional feeling of a over-sell but his points are accurate and his presentation informative. This first disk shows a few basic points, some exercises for developing your hands, some revival information and a number of basics China Na escapes. The most striking characteristic of this disk in the somewhat vacant look in the eyes of the "dummy". He's been hit a few times, believe it.

Analysis of Shaolin Chin Na DVD with Dr. Yang, Jwing Ming

Learn fast and powerful joint locks to control any opponent. Chin Na (Qin Na) means Seize and Control. This ancient Shaolin art is the study of controlling an opponent through joint locks and acupuncture cavities. Chin Na is part of almost all Chinese martial styles, and it can be a valuable addition to any other martial system. This video is the first in Dr. Yang, Jwing-Ming's extensive Chin Na video series, and provides an excellent overview to the art of Chin Na, beginning with the essential Chin Na speed and power fundamental training routines. Dr. Yang and senior student Ramel Rones demonstrate over 125 Chin Na techniques and applications close up, in slow motion and at regular speed, showing subtle variations for these effective techniques, which are introduced in the following categories: Finger, Wrist, Elbow, Shoulder, Neck, Waist, Leg and Takedowns. Easily integrated into any martial style, Chin Na is the root of the more modern grappling arts of Aikido and Hapkido, and it is often trained by military, security and law-enforcement personnel worldwide.

* Fundamental Chin Na Speed and Power Training Routines

* Learn to control an opponent with a turn of the wrist.

* Over 125 Chin Na techniques and applications.

Taoist Master Chuang

Taoist Master Chuang

Until his death in 1976 Master Chuang, a descendant of 35 generations of Taoist Priests, carried out his ancient rituals for the benefit of a small band of believers in Taiwan. His family, who claimed to have come from Hua Shan, the Taoist mountain in western China, followed the observances of the Dragon-Tiger Mountain sect in southeastern China. Although there are many conflicting Taoist schools, the antiquity and authenticity of Master Chuang's traditions cannot be doubted.

Michael Saso, a Western disciple of Master Chuang, recounts the teachings of Taoist Master Chuang, including Taoist history as Master Chuang understood it, the role of Taoist Priests in modern Chinese society, and Master Chuang's own rituals of Taoist black magic, meditation, and rarely discussed exorcistic thunder magic.

Synopses & Reviews

Publisher Comments:

The word yoga has many meanings, including "meditation," "method," and "union." While the physical exercises of Hindu yoga are familiar to Westerners, the subtle metaphysics and refined methods of spiritual development that characterize Buddhist yoga are not yet well known. This volume presents a landmark translation of a classical sourcebook of Buddhist yoga, the Sandhinirmochana-sutra, or "Scripture Unlocking the Mysteries," a revered text of the school of Buddhism known as Vijnanavada or Yogachara. The study of this scripture is essential preparation for anyone undertaking meditation exercise. Linking theory and praxis, the scripture offers a remarkably detailed and thorough course of study in both the philosophical and pragmatic foundation of Buddhist yoga, and their perfect, harmonious union in the realization of Buddhist enlightenment.

Dim Mak #2 (Dian Hsueh)

Xie Zhi Kai

The SECOND of a series of DVDs on the art of Point Striking. This second disk shows more about specific grabs such as bear hugs, shoulder locks, front hugs, rear strangles, hand shake controls, chest grabs and all that. But Xie does stick to his goal and uses movements which rely on and expand the meaning of point striking not just joint reversal.

Xie Zhi Kai 750 MB - avi - language Chinese - English SUB

The THIRD of a series of DVD's on the art of Point Striking. This disk concentrates on responses to strikes. Points emphasized are the carotid artery, lianquan on the neck and jianjiang on the shoulder. Controls are shown against punches, wrist grabs and kicks as well as headlocks. Xie is a bit of a character but his amalgamation of points and basic Chin Na is informative.

DA MO YI JIN JING – (BODHIDHARMA)

488 MB – mpg

Muscle and Tendon Changing Classic The Yi Jin Jing Qigong is a popular qigong exercise set from China. “Yi Jin Jing Qigong” means “Muscle and Tendon Transforming Exercises” or “Muscle and Tendon Changing Classic.”

In most cases, this qigong regimen consists of 12 movement sequences. There are some versions of the Yi Jin Jing with many more movements (24, 49, 108, 159). Some of the longer versions of the Yi Jin Jine include movements from the Eight Section Brocade Routine, the Five Animal Frolics Routine, the Louhan Routine, or the Bone Marrow and Brain Washing Routine.

Most people practice a 12 movement version of the Yi Jin Jing that was described in a book published by Pan Weiru in 1858 called “Essential Techniques for Guarding Life.” Also, Wang Zuyuan published a book in the 1880’s titled “Illustrated Exposition of Internal Techniques” that described the same qigong routine.

Thanks suninmyeyes.

I would love to post more but the Moderator Mal said i would be banned. I cant even refer you to sites such as scribd anymore here.

Kind of pathetic really so i have decided to share on another forum that doesn't whinge about Scribd & Rapidshare links. I guess ridiculous topics like Star wars & Haiku chain are more important around here.

Like I discussed with you it's a breach of copyright issue.

Like I discussed with you it's a breach of copyright issue.

Scribd is currently protected under the "Safe Habor" provisions of the Data Act... I posted the link over on the thread in the tech forum.... http://www.chillingeffects.org/weather.cgi?WeatherID=614 so it's not illegal to post or read scribd documents. It is true that there is a lawsuit against scribd but there's been no ruling on it yet. Until then scribd documents are perfectly legal -- the Safe Habor provisions explicitly state that its the owner of the copyright that has to contact a website to have their material removed.

The DMCA does not require online service providers to patrol their systems in an effort to prevent copyright violations. The law explicitly states that safe harbor protection is not to be conditioned on "a service provider monitoring its service or affirmatively seeking facts indicating infringing activity" (17 U.S.C. Sec. 512(m)).

Thanks for the info Drew,

So the only reason Scribd Links cannot be posted here is because its not ethical or fair say the moderators?

What ever happen to free speech and freedom of information here ? There is much material on this forum that already violates certain copyright laws im sure..... but only this special books have been censored.
