Slang terms we can and can't use!

Technically, any name calling or the use of derogatory terms to describe another member is against the insult policy and not conducive to civility.

I suppose we could list out a bunch of potentially offensive slang term and parse out exactly where the line is that would result in moderation action.  Seems pretty pointless to me though.  Why not just err on the side of respect?

One word that is for sure off limits is "ButtHurt"

It's a long story but trust me. Don't use it.

Thanks for the form, Jonesboy.  As someone who suffers from chronic and severe Trump-Talk butthurt, it`ll  come in handy when I need to kvetch about that dastardly Windwalker (too insulting?) to your wife. ^_^

This is supposed to be fun and has no serious point other than seekng out obscure slang whether offensive or not.

It that case, this topic might better be served in the rabbit hole or off-grid.

I appreciate your pointing out the mistake in my initial post.  It`s impossible to "err on the side of respect" because respect is never an error.  Thanks, honey.

Yes we all should be careful of what we say in this thread.

Yes, it was sad the way that evolved.

But I can still say that my butt hurts from sitting here at the computer so long.

Yes of course, because certain words are very powerful like shazam! HP taught me that one.

There's also words/terms which could out you as a...

...fundamentalist! :P

I was a member of one forum for a while and I counldn't talk about my DooWop music because the Wop of DooWop was censored for being insulting of Italians.

Is this the beginning of a cult?

I'm not going to mention that word.  I mis-spelled it once and got in trouble.

Well, if you ever have to get a hemorrhoid operation I promise you, you will have a butthurt.

Well I have a hernia operation coming up in November and if I get butthurt from that I'll be complaining!
