Can We Know Truth?

Would anyone in this thread understand the time complexity O(N * log N) ?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uncertainty_principle#Signal_processing

Apparently time-frequency uncertainty refers to the Heisenberg uncertainty principle and the Fourier Transform. This is advanced stuff so I might be wrong, but this video looks good:

We could start another topic about that, but such a topic would be much more difficult than the complex numbers topic!

precisely wandelaar, Now, suppose we western mathematicians might find a frequency with O(N) time, would that refute the uncertainty principle?

Time exists because there is movement in space (the universe).  Doesn't really matter too much how we measure time.  It exists just as does my chair.

I will make sure to over-look it if it does materialize.

Where did you find uncertainty?  Did your watch break?

the question could be,  can we capture silence with noise

No, but we can negate silence with noise.

And, of course, we could have silence if we turn off our music.

bah humbug, I watched hyena road on netflix last night. SPOILER: end quote, 'as the afgans say, you may have the clocks, yet we have the time.'

i wouldn't say negate, more like cover over

Yeah, Afghanistan has been invaded by just about every power that has ever existed but it still remains Afghanistan.

And the strange thing is that Afghanistan has very little resources.  No idea why anyone would want it.

But how can we cover up something that doesn't exist?

or skydive with no parachute from space and whistle.

I have been in many aircraft and never found a reason to jump out of any of them.  Not even the one that lost a propeller in flight (it had three good one to bring us down).

soil? Alexander was hassled by his Greek mother (it explains in the beginning of the movie) that he had conquered the known world yet was taking over three years in Afghanistan. He sent the dirt back to his Mum, and soon she saw soldiers fighting other soldiers.

Just thinking eventually one would travel faster than the speed of sound.

Can't show you but it does exist.  Electromagnetic energy.

prove it where and how

Yeah, it is said that Alexander did conquer Afghanistan but I doubt that is the full story.

No doubt Alexander was a great (maybe the greatest) military leaded.  But we can't underestimate the strength of the Afghans.

You are too far away for me to prove it to you.  Time and space matters.

Are you referring to the complexity of calculations? And what frequency are you talking about. How does this all relate  to the Heisenberg uncertainty principle? In mathematics of the non-VIYY type we need to be precise about what we are talking about, otherwise the discussion will lead nowhere.

Likely true, I can't remember what is said about it.  However, I think it is true that the higher you go before jumping out the faster you will fall because of the thinness of the atmosphere.

Won't work.  I would be dead.  It's amazing what 30 Amps of 220 Volts of electricity will do.

Your velocity will grow until the air resistance equals your weight. Higher up in the atmosphere the air will be thinner but you will also weight less. I could start another topic to calculate the effects. :)
