And start looking at the real multi-billion dollar organizations that are spreading racism, CNN, Washington Post, MSNBC, VICE

and stop focusing on groups that take up less than .001% of the population in the usa

Also Aethorus and Hancock are condemning only what they perceive as "negative" racism. Not realizing that the thousands of charities that only help people of a specific race are denying people of other races. 

When I asked him point-blank what percentage of whites in America he believes are actually hate-filled racists who share the views of the KKK and the Nazis, he changed the subject and refused to answer the question.  He has repeatedly intimated and almost directly stated that he believes all white people in the US are racists.  He is free to hold that opinion and to express that belief in the public square, even though he believes the First Amendment is a lie and the Declaration of Independence a fraud concocted to ensure the perpetual oppression of people of color by evil white men.

 

Personally, I have no dog in this fight because I am pink.

Why are you dodging the question?  What is it that the subconscious black racist tries to do?  If that is too specific for you to answer, you can expand it to "What is it the black racist tries to do?"

 

Two more questions for you (which you have previously ignored so I'm not holding my breath):

What percentage of white people in the US do you believe are racists (either consciously or subconsciously)?

What percentage of black people in the US do you believe are racists (either consciously or subconsciously)?

I listened and just didn't agree with you.

 

Morgan Freeman who I met at the Oaklawn Casino, in Hot Springs,AR a couple years back when I worked there. We discussed race, an he said outright it's where we are as a people. If we feed it, the racist win because they get empowered by our anger.

 

To BriAn on what percentage of whites I think are racist, that's just something I can't answer cause I try to not judge unless I meet someone or it's obvious (their being apart of quotes supergroup). So no real answer on that.

To add, most black racists I've met, hate white people because of the indignities forced on them in the present. Things are different now, but still not equal.

 

I don't know the percentage of black racists, so...That should answer your questions.

When my black friend Greg hears about other black people without meeting them, say over the telephone from a relative, he often asks "light skinned or dark skinned?"  When I asked him why he wanted to know he said it was "a point of reference."

 

He`s not racist, my friend.  He doesn`t want to know about skin color because he wants to judge anyone because of it or treat someone different.  That is what would be racist. He wants to know because he`s aware that people`s experience in life is often different depending on their skin tone.  Therefore it`s significant to him (and, according to him, many black people) as "a point of reference." 

 

I don`t think there`s anything wrong with this.

Saturday Night Live did a skit, back in the original "Not Ready for Prime Time Players" days, in which Garrett Morris was a talk show host interviewing another (lighter-skinned) black man, who was playing the role of an academic researcher, about the origins of racism.  It was outstanding.  I tried later to find it on the Internet but it seemed to have been memory-holed or something.  Maybe I'll try again.

Even a joke like this, harmless to most, is racist because of the insinuation. An people can say it's your way of thinking, he was just talking bout butterflies, or explain it off in some way. Perfect example of modern racism. That's how it is nowadays. The plight of millions trivialized an told an joked bout.

 

Btw, I know it's kinda random but anyone watch Netflix, that How I met your mother show is hilarious. It's on right now an it's just cracking me up this Barney guy is like my brother. The parallel are entertaining. I bring it up cause if there's typos it's cause I'm laughing.

Well, I will add to the fire, if there is one.  This morning there was a black man on my property helping me work in my gardens.  Of course, I paid him fair wages.

 

And it so happened that a black lady called me while I was outside working and I returned her call and we spoke for a while.  We are friends, Her husband and daughter are friends of mine as well.

The skit (and the mock talk-show within it) was named "Black Perspective."  The guest was Julian Bond, a 1960s civil rights activist and a Georgia politician for twenty years who later became Chairman of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) and was the first President of the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC).

Why distinguish they are black? Understand how that need to separate one from another is the root of racism, be it friend or foe. We're human.

 

You guys force the issue of black versus white when you should see it's humanity versus the idea of separation and disharmony.

Interesting that I spoke of both Malcolm X and Cassius Clay this morning.  I stated that I hold more respect for the both of them.  More so than I have for Martin Luther King.

 

I won't argue your post above but I will state that I agree that many of both blacks and whites are racists.  Something that people should have gotten over a long time ago but it still lingers on.

It's obvious what you're doing, why you're doing it, an your claim of racism goggles is just your narrow viewpoint because you've not comprehended the larger picture of what I've discussed.

 

Racism Is bad. It doesn't promote harmony, unity, growth as a species. It keeps us separate. A barrier to our capacity to sense our interconnectivity.

I will ask you the question in reverse:  Why do many Blacks differentiate between Black people and White people?

 

It is a fact that our skin color is different and it is also a fact that many have very different cultures.

 

As you are arguing, until we look at a person and make no prejudgments there will the differences that are point out.  This is human nature and it applies to nearly all aspects of life.
