We are all Slaves to our Minds, Egos and The System.

You seem to be attached to that concept. What happens if you let it go?

We are all Slaves to our Minds, Egos and The System.

Completely true. Thats why some of the members here are working to loosen the grip. Practices are done to work to find freedom.

Good one, a very subtle one.

When there is a let go, you can feel the body get lighter.

A Body = Bag of Skin, holding collection of Bones, Organs, etc together in one place.

One Body usually contains one mind, one spirit, etc.

But all of these can also be part of the collective consciousness / Tao.

(LOL)

philosophy is interesting, if you get cut will u not bleed! if you broke your leg will you not hurt? the mind controls the spirit and body. its what allows the spirit to act. what i was saying is the body being free in society the "system". our society does not promote freedom. freedom of mind, body, or spirit! until scociety is changed to promote true freedom of all three aspects of the human being, then truly one freedom will never be enough...

the mind controls the body and the body controls the spirit...and the spirit controls the mind, dont get tangled up,...

our body leads our spirit through prayer or meditation,

our Spirit leads our mind through self cultivation.

our Mind leads our body through motor skills ect.

this is true, you cannot denie.

Society doesn't promote a feeling of individual freedom.

Governments all around the World are a little scared of intelligent individuals who don't follow the "norm".

Some are seen as Eccentric, or New Age Hippies, others are just treated as outcasts or outsiders.

Loners on the fringes of society.

We're all expected to behave or dress in a certain manner and most of the time, the majority of us go along with it.

As long as it doesn't go against our beliefs, just because it's easier not to resist what everyone else wants / does.

That way, society feels like a safe, warm & fuzzy place to be.

But sometimes, even the little things can show how much Freedom we've lost in a Big Society.

For instance, society "expects" everyone to wear matching shoes, matching socks, etc.

99.9% of us are like Sheep and follow what the others are doing.

Why not show your individuality and (if you normally wear them) wear odd coloured socks tomorrow.

It's a start !!!

(LOL)

What individual freedoms are you being kept from? You want to wear different colored socks check. You want others to wear different colored socks, uhm okay you have the freedom to start a a like minded group. There's already a company called Little Miss Match that's beaten to the marketing angle. What other freedoms? You want to pay less taxes. Join the club. How much do you pay now in total and as a percent and how much would you prefer? Note if your parents or grandparents are getting Big Society benefits like medicaid and social security how much would like to cut it by?

Why do you think being labeled an eccentric or hippie is bad? In the U.S being against the government is pretty much the norm. If you dress yourself, you can dress how you like. But you can't control what other people think. If they they don't like it, you can them sheeple, but you can't pull a fascist trick of declaring everyone should think just like you do.

How could I know that this above statement was not a "slaved" statement under the control of your "mind, ego and system"?

Dropping it as a concept , one regains both responsibility and possession of their fate.

I dont see how it must make things lighter or heavier to bear, since responsibility

and possession are 'concepts of arbitrary nature' illusions too -if you will.

But one might feel less oppressed , which would be nice.
