A friendly hello

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I see that I have been involved with some of the posts from my elder kin so I decided to register so I am enabled to give her crap from time to time. :P

A word on friendship

Memories explode and relay inside, playing like a movie on the screen of your perception. Perhaps once in a while you see/talk to a person whom you have history with, feeding imagination. Building character. It's a person that you can just talk to and open up all the parts of yourself.

Or for some others, a person that you can just walk past and regard with a friendly, good hearted and sincere "hello, how are you?" will suffice.

For me, either is enough.

Welcome. I would invite my 3 little sisters on here but they would just be yappin' about Catholicism.

Good looking family BTW

Great to keep Taobums in the family!

My brother did sign on secretly as True Justice in my personal practice discussion posing as a twisted psychopath to try to get a rise out of me. That particular stunt didn't go anywhere, but I'm sure there are some good possibilities out there for sibs.

I wasn't always the nicest big brother ever... if he was a real psychopath, I'd have been his first customer.

As kids, he was way into new agey ideas and I was extremely disdainful of them. As late teenagers, we both changed our minds to the opposite pole. Chia says in Astral healing that your full personality infuses its final installment from nonphysical during adolescence. Seems to fit my story. This ungrounded, nebulous mystical quest gurgled up during math class and I'm still quite puzzled as to what it is, what to do with it, etc.

I'm getting the sense that I won't be finding closure any time soon!

I've gotta admit...it's nice to have you on here, sis.

I have tried to watch what I am sharing when it comes to your life, and from experience, we've done some amazing things together, and many of them involving cultivation and learning. One of the first posts I put on here involved our trip to Tibet, with the hike and the search for those "all knowing, all talented spiritual guru's that holds lifes secrets". But the point that brought it up was that incredible sunset we witnessed the first morning of discovery. As if the force of mountainous nature was showing off for us, right??

Yes, we have a great family, with roots that grow deep into Eastern religious cultures. The great thing is, higher learning was always encouraged, and that strengthened the muscle that involves the "need to learn" impulse. As kids, we always had TONS of questions...and lucky as we are, we had people who mostly knew to tell us sensibly and patiently what we needed to progress, and if they didn't know, they would most certainly seek someone out who could.

So now that you are here! I will have to adjust the way I say (on those very rare occasions when I involve Lillian in my posts) them because now chances are that you are going to read it so I may need to address it differently sometimes, I am sure...only now I think that it will make better sense that I no longer have to pretend that you are not there in yet another aspect of our lives.

But when it came to people, I also admit another thing--I was always in awe of the way you relate...being more laid back, fun, humorous, and charismatic in general...and me being the more uptight, responsible, and routined...I have usually suspected that better results would find their way to you in shorter time.

YODA!!!

I can't believe that was your brother messing with you...when I read those words you posted I just sighed a huge sigh of relief-because when I read the posts by "True Justice" earlier I thought to myself *Oh my god! How do you deal with this kind of imbalance???* and so many more thoughts that I should just dissipate for now. But that was a relief, nonetheless and thanks so much for letting that one out in the air. *whew!*

You guys are great welcomers, you know!!!

Since we are getting all "Family Ties" in here I decided to update my avatar with Master Yoda's long lost brother. He got kicked off the Jedi councel several hundred years before Episode 1 for what some Jedi referred to as " a habit that clouds the force."

Apparantly briefly joined the Sith but wasnt motivated to take over the universe and rule using the dark side. He instead preffered to hang out outdoors and created an advanced form of hackey sack that attracted hippies from throughout the galaxy to hang out, smoke, and watch the mysterious green dude move things with his mind.

Both the Sith lords and Jedi knights considered him an embarassment and actually worked together for the first and only time in history to rid the universe from what they apparently referred to as ' God damn Hippie Scum".

Ah, the stoney side of the Force!

I'm sick of playing politics, getting my ass kicked by the dark side, ungrateful students with short attention spans, stupid fucking clones, etc.

You were right, bro... Fedex some to Degoba!

Jessica-- I should have announced that earlier. If you ever find anything out of kilter, just get Sean to delete it--he deletes most of my posts so it all works out. It's nice to have a nice fun feel to this site, with nothing too edgy. I do miss Ron's pornographic presence, though.

There's a lot of people that can't turn around their negativity in their current life, that's why they call it a day and grab a fresh little body full of love and start over. It's too bad to get out of balance to that extent, but it's not that big of a deal. It's like raising kids--they need to be able to scrape their knee sometimes.

I've been known to attract extreme individuals from time to time and I find it extremely flattering that they can sense some assistance from me. So far, I haven't been particularly helpful so I've put this aspect of myself on ice for the past several years.

I do fantasize that I will be able to help reorient folks like that someday.

For what it's worth, they come to the planet with *a lot* of power. But families, teachers, etc can't handle it, so they get taught that something is wrong with them, but they are the real bodhisattvas. They'd rather freak out than live mediocre.
