Cobie Posted October 18 The goal of guided meditations is to get you to think, ‘who the f*ck are you to tell me what to do.’.
liminal_luke Posted October 18 Stock market contrarians will tell you that by the time ordinary people on the street are saying to invest in X, it´s time to get out. Opinions are like that too: if everybody believes it, it´s probably no longer true.

''  '' Because I have spent several decades in yogic and magical meditation, practice adjustment and fine tuning of them .. I would not want any random person  'balancing' them for me , even if they could ..... thank you ... have a nice day .''

Cobie Posted Monday at 10:17 PM (edited) @Apech I did take you serious and my response was serious. There are various stages in meditation. Just follow your nose (it knows the way, pun intended ) in what to do next; if that’s thinking, then thinking it is.   Edited Monday at 10:23 PM by Cobie

Nungali Posted Tuesday at 05:26 AM Here is another 'one ' ... about how the 'brain works' and how we 'learn' stuff :  Everyday guy , Derek Amato could play the guitar . He is larking around at a BBQ or something , poolside . The other men do silly dives , he runs and does one but has run into the shallow end ... bonk ! head on bottom . He is sorta okay but has a headache and a bump . Later his wife makes him go to hospital . Okay - just a minor concussion but a few days later he starts seeing these  'randomly' arranged blocks of black and white passing over the 'screen of his mind' in a stream . It is considered some strange after effect . He keeps seeing them . Later he goes to a friends place and they have a piano ... he is staring at the keyboard ... something strange and familiar is happening internally . He sits at the piano ... and plays like a maestro .  Doctors assume the black and white patters are visual signals in the brain that fire the fingers to do the playing .... but how can he do it and how did it happen ?  They have no idea .    Its called 'acquired savant syndrome ' .   https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Savant_syndrome#Acquired_cases
