Paths align feet alight...

7 posts in this topic

Hello fellow travellers.

I'm a nomadic farmer, right now living in Dartmoor (UK).

I landed here serendipitously. Following two paths that I've been on since a long time, that of the Way of Ki, and that of celtic ways. Somehow both seem to bring me, gently and purposefully to Nature, the body's energy, and interconnectedness.

I dipped my toes into Dao many a year ago, and later have approached it again, through Taichi and QiGong. Meditation and working on the energy centres.  Now I'm hoping to go deeper. I'm also coming from the druidic (which is basically Shinto) and realised that the "three cauldrons" are very much the three energy centres in the Dao. As discussed in a topic here, almost a decade ago. Hence my joyful discovery of this community.

May your day be fulfilling and peaceful. May your now be free of anger and worry. Dwell in kindness and love. Ignite the connection to Earth, and Heart and Mind will bloom.

Hello, Brigid and welcome.

Your membership is approved and we're happy you found your way to us. We look forward to accompanying you on some of the way that you still have to go.

Please take the time to read the post pinned at the top of this Welcome page and take a look at the forum Terms and Rules.   This covers all you need to know when getting started.

For the first week you will be restricted to ten posts per day but after that you can post as much as you like. Also, until you’ve posted fifteen times in the forums, you’ll be a “Junior Bum” with somewhat restricted access and will be allowed only two private messages per day.

Good luck in your pursuits and best wishes to you,

Marblehead and the TDB team

Hi Brigid,

Yeah, there are some here who can take you into the depths of understanding.  Others may lead you into the abyss.

Thanks for the greeting!

You are welcome to jump right in ongoing discussions, revive an older thread, start a new thread of your own, or start a discussion in the "Newcomer Corner" sub-forms to expand on your introduction or ask general questions to help you get started.

May you enjoy your time here.

Marblehead

Hello Brigid,

I always spell 'travellers' with 'll'. But not accepted by 'spell check'.

Gently and purposefully to Nature.

My life - slowly a beautiful picture.

Body's energy, and interconnectedness.

Mind's eye, and clarity + true happiness.

You measure the depth?

Lower, middle and upper danteins? What an interconnected world. Actually Shinto and Dao are first cousins.

And your then has rice, chicken and curry

Dwell in kindness and love.
