No, you don't have to prove anything to any one.  Not even to me.  Only to your self of your beliefs.

 

There are reasons you have the beliefs you have at this point in time.  None of us can go back and change the causes of yesterday.  The best we can do is live in the "now moment".

 

But things change.  Our beliefs change as well.  That is why the concept of "change" is so important in Taoism.

No. That would be an interesting one, but my Latin is a little rusty, and I don't see it translated to another language.

No, Plato wasn't wrong.  He related information he had heard and used the info as a tool.

 

He wasn't teaching science but rather politics.  (And we all know they lie a lot.)
