Every spoken word suggests the belief in existence of self

It is not possible to say a single thing without saying ten thousand things

No-thing can be understood as it was meant.

Intentions are never met as intended. Action-Reactions multiply infinitely.

Seeking is grasping. Actions are attempts to change. Change occurs endlessly regardless.

Attachment to specific outcomes creates suffering and will never result in the desired event.

Mind fabrications are suffering and bliss and everything else

To end mind fabrications is extinction of thought constructs

Is it merely attachment to pleasure or negative attachment to suffering to want to end the fabrications?

Is there anywhere to go?

Anything to attain (besides bliss)?

serious question...

what is the goal?

What if one just lets go and doesn't care where one ends up?

Delusional sleep dream with one eye open/one closed?

Until I have some overarching goal or point that I am aiming for, I will forever be running hither and thither on endless wild goose chases...it seems that one first has to be convinced of a higher end purpose...this hasn't happened to me yet. So for now my purpose is to find that purpose - so that I know what to home in on.

Here are examples of potential purposes:

-Nirvana

-Bodhisattva vow

-Spiritual immortality with fixed identity in some spiritual plane

Knowing what is possible is a start to choosing a purpose..

What is possible?

What do you think is possible?

What is your goal?

There's a famous Zhuangzi story about a useless tree. "The trunk is so distorted, so full of knots, no one can get a straight plank out of it. The branches are so crooked you cannot cut them up in any way that makes sense.”

The tree, being completely useless to those who would cut it down if it could be saddled with a "purpose," grew to an enormous size without fearing the carpenter's ax. It became home to countless creatures. The ground underneath, protected from the sun and the rain, became a shelter, a shrine, an earth-altar. The useless tree acquired a multitude of useful functions precisely because it had no purpose.

Purposes are things of minds

Minds are things of bodies

Bodies are things of Earth vacations
