The rain forests are being destroyed....... The world's economy is on its knees due to the bankers taking the piss......... A few people pretending to do things they can't do is not really the end of the world. If you want to get angry about something, then choose something a little more worthy ! Everyone on here seems to be a consenting adult, with enough experience to spot the fakes from the genuine. If you have such a downer on Qigong, there are better places to go, where people might be more easily influenced by you. I have never been affected by a fake master, but I did see many activities of them in China, and saw some similar stories in this forum. I focused on fake things doesn/t mean there is no positive things, but I wanted to point out the problems. Many here are studying under someone or some lineage and are close enough to the teachers/masters/etc to know for themselves. SO who specifically would you like to address? Who is going off in the wrong direction in their study? Most normal people don't go around searching for proofs of fakes and then go to a website and claim this is for their own good... This is a classic troll maneuver to stirs things up. Your not proving something is fake, just that some claims of some people are. Your not really proving the person is fake since you don't know them enough to state it categorically across the board. So in the end, your not proving anything about Qigong, only about human nature. As well, your actions show something about your nature too. I did see some people here believe wrong things here, so I think it is more important to do it. But, if you ask me what makes me an authortiy to judge, ok, I just judge with my knowledge, and I just put it, you can choose believe or not. I think puting it is my right, believing it or not is your right. I don't want to mention specific person so as to avoid his/her angry and revenge. But I think most people on here have learnt to think for themselves and are probably more adept at spotting fakes than you. And people are here to learn, not to throw shit. Judge no one, less you be judged yourself. I've even met people who were exposed as fakes, who were absolutely genuine, and who were emotionally and psychologically devastated by what happened to them. So I make my own mind up about everything. Maybe you should understand that, and give others the respect due to them. Let them decide themselves. I'm bored now. I'm not going to judge your motives or agenda. I have no right. You do what you do.....I'll do what I do. I gave others information doesn't mean I didn't give them respect, right? This is quite consistent with your position on many issues you post about. They then seem to be nothing but opinions... and there is a saying about them... Maybe the problem is that in China you see lots of fakes and see many people believing those demonstrations or claims. I assume you mean the lay people... This is not china and most here are lay people to energy work; many here are deeply involved and once that involved you can know if your with a fake or not. Most will not care nor make any judgement about another 'master' or demonstration too quickly because we value direct experience or direct study from someone to be able to make any claim as to their ability. We do rely on others experiences working with certain people. We still cannot make any personal claim about the person, one can only share what others have said. I can make a flame dance by putting my hand next to it and emitting CHIIIIIIIIIIIIII, I'm probably somehow affecting it by changing my hand's temperature or something. If you really care so much about us, quit spamming our threads with stories about qigong fakery. Or switch it up. Stories about medical fakery, academic fakery, etc. I would rather watch a vid of a guy who says he can drink 20 shots and then passes out at 17 than read anything more about qigong fakery. Like everyone is saying, our practice is really enriching our lives. We know there are fakers. We don't care. We stay away from them.
