This will be the last week I'll be on for awhile...

Thank you Zanshin. I originally posted "We can only hope", but then I remembered that hope has nothing to do with this. Things change of their own accord. We can choose to take part of that change, to influence it through our own actions or we can allow things to happen without our interference. Many think that inaction is the natural way, but what I have begun to understand more clearly is that our actions are every bit as natural as the actions of the world, when they are done within the context of compassion. So what I "hope for" is that I will continue to be able to act in a compassionate way, to understand compassion with clarity, and help those who suffer in every way possible. If I do these things I believe that regardless of what happens, my life will be satisfactory.

Love to you my brother for understanding things right even when the going is crappy. You're a hero- one of mine anyway.

Hi guys,

As some of you may already know, I've had to deal with getting burnt (literally on my right hand) awhile back and I'm just getting over that, now, because I haven't been able to find a job, I'm looking at being homeless as of Saturday. I was given a 3 day notice today and I don't have the money to pay rent. I'm currently spending the last money I have on a plane ticket for washington state so I can be closer to my family. Of course none of them have offered to let me stay with them, but they are still my family.

I'm not stressed out about this, crap happens. We should accept the good with the bad, if we're going to accept something as good or bad to begin with. I am going to be traveling with my brother who has a little money saved up, so hopefully we can get into a cheap hotel or motel while we look around for work.

I'm not writing this for sympathy, none needed. I am fully at peace with what's happening. I will survive, either by soup kitchen, finding a warm place to sleep near a vent or crashing on my sister's couch. Life will go on, whether I like it or not, so I can either live it or not. I like the first alternative much better than the latter.

My biggest problem before, when I thought I was going to be evicted, but ended up finding a way out at the last moment, was finding a place for my cats, but now that's not such a big deal. I wish them well, but they don't need me to survive. I will find them a good home, keep them alive in my memories and move on to what I need to do.

As a result of all this, I may not be on after this week for a very long time, possibly months. If you want to get in touch with me before I move, you can do it by message here, my phone is in the process of being turned off.

I guess you didn't go to Seattle? Whatever happened with that?

I got five days of work and was able to pay my rent. Ended up not paying all the next months rent and it came to a head this month. Things are crappy all over, but apparently in Orlando they're extra crappy.

Trying to survive off Ramen noodles is even worse than soup kitchen food. It really brings appreciation to things we sometimes over look. Is there anywhere to go fishing around where you live?

I actually love Ramen noodles, but you're right a few weeks of ramen and they lose their appeal.

Good luck. My sister is also traveling the states with her fiance, they play music on the sidewalks for enough $$ to get around.

Good luck dude!

It has sustained many a college student.

Says something awesome about youthful capacities:-) It's almost Bigu. It's probably like anti-eating:-)

But perhaps the resident specialists in electrolytes will chime in with a serious chem analysis of ramen:-) (i wish they would:-))
