  1. 300 Year Old Carved Tibetan Skull

SonoftheGods ... that is AWESOME I need that ! For …. Reasons. I used to have a selection of that sort of stuff, mostly magical implements ... still have the brass (?) phurba (I wish I had kept the iron ones) and some large size skull mala (but yak bone). Oh yeah I still have the Kartika https://www.google.com.au/search?q=Kartika&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=vPeSUqGpF4aEiAeQiICoAw&ved=0CAcQ_AUoAQ&biw=1051&bih=450 Oh DAMN that IS NOT how you spell it … ummm the Tibetan sword Kardiga ??? No … anyway what ever it is called, it has a dragon head handle and the blade is the dragon’s breath with flames on the end I think kartika IS the skull chopper though (what a name for a woman !!! ) I mean this critter; “ Manjushree sword is also known as sword of wisdom. In Buddhist thought, it is this sword that one uses to cut through ignorance, and reveals the true nature of reality.” http://tibetanhandloom.com/product_img/manjushree-sword-for-web.jpg Except I painted some stuff on it and used it in a Goetic working .
  2. This guy makes money out of fooling the government and people who are looking for hope and a new national identitiy and does tours for new age nuts that want to believe anything like this without examining it as it somehow assures them of what they wish the world was like (for some reason ???) Him and his workers are carving the hill out to resemble a Mayan pyramid and caving out tunnels saying they are old tunnels that have been filled in. Riiiiiight ! Just a few notes from the Smithsonian: In The World of the Maya, which was reprinted in English in the United States, he writes that "Mayan hieroglyphics tell us that their ancestors came from the Pleiades....first arriving at Atlantis where they created an advanced civilization." In another work, Alternative History, he argues that Adolf Hitler and other Nazi leaders escaped to a secret underground base in Antarctica from which they did battle with Adm. Richard Byrd's 1946 Antarctic expedition. "His books are filled with these kinds of stories," says journalist Vuk Bacanovic, one of Osmanagich's few identifiable critics in the Sarajevo press corps. "It's like a religion based on corrupted New Age ideology." When I first read about the pyramids I thought it was a very funny joke," says Amar Karapus, a curator at the National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo. "I just couldn't believe that anyone in the world could believe this." In early 2006 Osmanagich asked a team of geologists from the nearby University of Tuzla to analyze core samples at Visocica. They found that his pyramid was composed of the same matter as other mountains in the area: alternating layers of conglomerate, clay and sandstone. "What he's found isn't even unusual or spectacular from the geological point of view," says geologist Robert Schoch of Boston University, who spent ten days at Visoko that summer. "It's completely straightforward and mundane." "They're called ‘flatirons' in the United States and you see a lot of them out West." He adds that there are "hundreds around the world," including the "Russian Twin Pyramids" in Vladivostok. The belief that Visoko was a cradle of European civilization and that the Bosniaks' ancestors were master builders who surpassed even the ancient Egyptians has become a matter of ethnic pride. "The pyramids have been turned into a place of Bosniak identification," says historian Dubravko Lovrenovic of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Commission to Preserve National Monuments. "If you are not for the pyramids, you are accused of being an enemy of the Bosniaks." "I think the pyramids are symptomatic of a traumatized society that is still trying to recover from a truly horrendous experience," says Andras Riedlmayer, a Balkan specialist at Harvard University. "You have many people desperate for self-affirmation and in need of money." In April 2006, twenty-one historians, geologists and archaeologists signed a letter published in several Bosnian newspapers describing the excavations as amateurish and lacking proper scientific supervision. Some went on local television to debate Osmanagich. Bosniak nationalists retaliated, denouncing pyramid opponents as "corrupt" and harassing them with e-mails. Zilka Kujundzic-Vejzagic of the National Museum, one of the Balkans' pre-eminent archaeologists, says she received threatening phone calls. Similarly, in a 2006 letter to Science magazine, Schoch said the hills in Visoko "could well yield scientifically valuable terrestrial vertebrate specimens. Presently, the fossils are being ignored and destroyed during the ‘excavations,' as crews work to shape the natural hills into crude semblances of the Mayan-style step pyramids with which Osmanagich is so enamored." He points out various boulders he says were transported to the site 15,000 years ago, some of which bear carvings he says date back to that time. In an interview with the Bosnian weekly magazine BH Dani, Nadija Nukic, a geologist whom Osmanagich once employed, claimed there was no writing on the boulders when she first saw them. Later, she saw what appeared to her as freshly cut marks. She added that one of the foundation's workers told her he had carved the first letters of his and his children's names
  3. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Osmanagi%C4%87_pyramid_hypothesis The article refs quote Davidovitts the Egyptian concrete guy … although I have respect for his findings and discoveries and his financial success due to them ( re geopolymer technology), his pyramid theory just doesn’t hold up. The article is riddled with tells as well , the refs are in Russian and even in Russian the names of certain characters stand out . The gloss ( by quoting National Geographic) is quiet silly (ancient people had a profound purpose) . For further convincing follow the links and see the adverts … why not pay the good doctor for one of his guided tours. I might go myself to see Gobleki Teki as there are some strange things to be worked out there, but in this case we are looking at a date of 10,000 BP and it doesn’t take much to stretch the P.I.E. peoples Empires back to then - they did supply the migration stock into the Nile Valley after all (in case one doesn’t realise, the Ancient Egyptians were not Africans.) ..
  4. You are the friend ... God is the Companion ... your heart is touched ... on all levels it is possible ... live life and let God have the experience of incarnation through you ... like one leads a friend who is blind.

  6. Cooking up a storm

Made lunch yesterday for potential backer of one of my projects ( alchemical / agricultural) so I thought to use local produce; much potato growing, trout hatchery, old wood fired oven bakery in town and the veggie garden. Lunch was ; Smoked trout and leek puff pastry parcels (with a tad of cream cheese and caper and horseradish cream on top) Rocket, fresh pear slices and walnut salad with vinaigrette Potato salad with garden herbs, egg and mayo. Big chunky cob of sesame seed covered bread and butter. He is on board now and prepared to buy the microscope (so I can get pics of the teeeeeenie little bugs living inside the preparations).
  7. 338 Posts ! I just noticed that and I find it hard to believe ... surely NOT. I cant have done that many in so short a time ... Is that the count of actual posts I made or am I reading the stats wrong?
  8. How on earth did that happen?

    <formal lizard bow> thank you.
  9. How on earth did that happen?

  10. Misperceptions ... abound. I am an Egypto - nut . I am also have been initiate of western tantric tradition. I have never been happy with the sperm retention view. This is because sperm is a substance that carries the energy, to see it as the energy itself , or 'un-extractible' from the energy, IMO is a mistake. The essence of alchemical process (external and internal) is circulation : extraction : mixing ( Tao: Yin : Yang ). The energy must be circulated first , by self then in partnership (again, partnership with self or another) . If procreation is desired the energy and sperm is ejacted (Into an appropriate 'vessel') for the creation of new consciousness. If this is not the intention then, during internal circulation, the energy is extracted from the sperm, now the sperm is just a material substance, there is no need to retain the form (and now some see it as 'qlippoth') so it is ejacted as a 'waste product' or 'no longer needed medium' The extracted energy is further circulated and worked as a type of 'fountain technique'. Don't ask me why but in many (all ? ) systems, circulation adds (refines, aligns, potentises ) 'energy' . Hence , energy is gained. It can be circulated by self or in tandem to further increase (but that is rather intimate ). The healthy body will not be depleted of such energy as it does not produce it, it is a channel for it, and it taps an infinite source. The physical substances can easily be replenished in a healthy person with good diet ... of course the middle way (moderation) applies. Forcing physical sperm back into the body is not particularly health IMO and the above woman comments re the natural processes seem valid (and interesting, I have met more than one woman that disdains sperm retention ) Of course, the whole thing can work without ejaculation, the male orgasm can cycle and come to the whole process (the 'fountain technique') by disconnecting the orgasm process from the physical ejaculation process , and just work with the energy instead (and thus having contraceptive benefits as well (errmmm ...practice with a condom on or a sterilised woman first ) I have met more than one unsterilized woman that does not disdain this process ( actually throw in a double fountain technique and they ). Just curious now .... what is the woman's perspective on this, i.e. on the above ... and what is the woman's perspective on their internal process? (Any Tantric Priestess out there? )
  11. How on earth did that happen?

Gets me ... ? How on earth do you guys do it without a tail anyway ... what do you use as a set when there isn't a seat ?
  12. How on earth did that happen?

And just when I was about to telll a walking on the water story ... but you guys probabaly know it anyway.
  13. How on earth did that happen?

I started a thread about bamboo but I cant find it at the moment ( I am killing time in town at the libabry waiting for a meeting to start - to far to drive home and back again. Everything is coming up on wierd on this screen with large blank areas - not to mention horrible screaming demanding kids that seem less than 1 year old and their mothers try to get them on a computer ... DOH and now a 1o minute warning from the Libararian ... closing time ... But the bamboo thread is somewhere ... I did Trad Japanese fencing (both sorts ) built a space for some aboriginals and a temple for myself (both with removible slide off roofs for starry nights and an inbuilt venting system for rain and having an inside fire pit. Gotta split ... might go down and sit by the river and read a bit .
  14. Spirit Science

Its always interesting when EVERYBODY ELSE reaches the wrong conclusion except you ... isnt it? Its been said before that you often behave like you are in the wrong thread or forum ... your self pride remarks about defence, Samurai, etc lead me to believe you cant tell the diffence between internet forum, real life and time (Samurai tradition died long ago) and location (Turkey and Japan brothers ??? how so ???
  15. How on earth did that happen?

    Salamanders ??? Harumph https://www.google.com.au/search?q=Goanna&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=mPuKUt28J82tiQfzmoCAAw&ved=0CAcQ_AUoAQ&biw=1051&bih=450 ..
  16. How on earth did that happen?

I don't care ... rave away I get into allsorts of 'bent' stuff ... but I don't care, its just another way of looking at things. If I cant see a correlation in its process with a process in nature then I assume it is just some mad human head trip .... then, not interested.
  17. " Socrates: You, Gorgias, like myself, have had great experience of disputations, and you must have observed, I think, that they do not always terminate in mutual edification, or in the definition by either party of the subjects which they are discussing; but disagreements are apt to arise-somebody says that another has not spoken truly or clearly; and then they get into a passion and begin to quarrel, both parties conceiving that their opponents are arguing from personal feeling only and jealousy of themselves, not from any interest in the question at issue. And sometimes they will go on abusing one another ... until the company at last are quite vexed at themselves for ever listening to such fellows. " Curious that I was up to this part this morning ...
  18. Spirit Science

Under these terms and definitions I find it very hard to say more about that. If I read or hear what some say is spiritual science, it hasn't fulfilled my definition of science. When it does it doesn't become 'spiritual '. E.g. Psychic energies (telepathy, distant viewing , etc.) ... communication with ancestors/ancestral memory ... and a whole range of 'spiritual stuff' all fit nicely together in the 'scheme' of Exo-psychology (albeit including some far-out propositions and postulations - but much of science has that {evolution , quantum theory etc. } ) but IMO that is a science so those things , in THAT framework have become science ( I can demonstrate the proofs personally to my satisfaction , it correlates with other systems, it does not force any great contradictions with other systems scientific or spiritual and it has been demonstrated to work as a system of psychology (by assisting recovery of 'helpless' cases incarcerated in prison ) another example; the Psychiatric work of Wilson van Dusen who used Swedenborg's principles of spirit possession to treat patients ... his findings and case studies and his cases of rehabilitation now have scientific validity. The reason is because he removed the metaphor or spiritual and religious clothing and looked at the underlying principles ...as Crowley has done in the above link . The benefit of this is, one does not have to adopt a religious or spiritual dogma or belief system but one can apply the process to the psyche ... I see this a relevant key in getting to the bottom of it all. Which ... in my extremely limited understanding of the subject, I think that is what a good deal of Buddhism is about ? It IS heavily 'clothed' but it focuses on the techniques and processes of the psyche, in amore 'open way' than the masked way of other systems (except 'scientific illuminism' )
  19. How on earth did that happen?

apparently more than I realised ... no doubt due to my supposed resting and recovery regime ... it appears to be working ... I seriously contemplated some heavier labour today ... soon. OMG ! I just looked at yours 19647 ... ! Brian's seem a lower number yet he posts all over the place (and on that note Brian sometimes I have trouble realising you aren't that guy in the little icon photo and his expression isn't yours - although on 2nd thought; reading some of the obscure answers to your clear questions maybe it iS ? ... so please excuse any strange responses on my part ) .
  20. Spirit Science

Back to Spiritual science; IMO there isn't such a thing ... when it becomes 'science' it becomes science not 'spiritual science' which again IMO is usually load of rubbish (as evidenced above). BUT ... studying the technique behind religion and spirituality (which some might term science or 'scientific illuminism' ) is another matter and IMO quiet valid; http://hermetic.com/crowley/equinox/i/ii/eqi02016.html ..
  21. . I think you are in the wrong thread again ... people keep saying you are but you deny it and YOU say you ARE on topic. Please show me in this thread where martial arts has been discussed. Off topic AGAIN! .
  22. I think you are in the wrong thread again ... people keep saying you are but you deny it and YOU say you ARE on topic. Please show me in this thread where Okinawan karate has been discussed. (In any case I imposed shame on Japanese karate not Okinawan ... I respect Okinawan karate. At least get your facts straight when you go off topic in desperation .... desperation because you are being defeated in argument by so many people all at once! You remind me of the Samurai in 'Sword of Doom'. )
  23. What about 'Western Philosophical Arts and Practices' have you tried that. Some have success with 'banishing rituals' , I knew a young woman who had bad 'night terrors' (demonic versions of herself coming into her room and ripping her apart and eating her, her not being able to tell the difference between that happening and reality, her mother holding her arms and trying to wake her up but her totally in horror and screaming ... that's pretty bad ! ) Anyway she had some success with therapy and the Pentagram banishing ritual ... it just seemed suited to her specific 'western psychological' problem.
