ChiDragon Posted Sunday at 09:09 PM I was reading randomly online investigating what people say about directing the breath and energy during meditation. From understanding, it is a fallacy to say that taken in the oxygen and energy or directing the breath and energy inside the body. Unfortunately, perhaps some the people are took it for granted. I will quote some of the texts and point out the fallacy.
ChiDragon Posted Sunday at 09:11 PM (edited) Nasal Breathing: Most breathing, both inhalation and exhalation, is done through the nose to better control and direct the breath and energy. Edited Sunday at 09:18 PM by ChiDragon
ChiDragon Posted Sunday at 09:17 PM 4. Focus on Relaxation: Throughout the practice, maintain a state of relaxation in your shoulders and lungs to facilitate deeper breathing. 5. Repeat: Continue this process for several minutes, allowing for a deep and full breath to take in oxygen and energy.
Lairg Posted Sunday at 10:57 PM When I breathe in, I take in life force from the Cosmos. Sometimes I direct that life force to deficient areas of the physical body

Is it possible that you might be breathing some other bad force along with the cosmic life force. That which might cause harm to your body? Nungali Posted Sunday at 11:57 PM Micro plastics are in the air now .
ChiDragon Posted Monday at 12:06 AM (edited) Micro plastics are measurable as opposed to some unknown force in the air which is not. However, oxygen are measurable and it was known it helps to produce energy in the body. The cosmic force in the air is an imaginary force which is causing beyond reasonable doubt. Sanity Check Posted Monday at 05:46 AM This thread is a good reminder to me. To breathe more. And breathe more deeply.
thelerner Posted 7 hours ago In Ki-Aikido they separated breathing exercises from meditation practice. I've always liked trying different breathing rhythms, in Aikido they'd do very long 1 minute cycle, a minute in, minute out. Quite difficult, but cheating was allowed til it was doable. Lately, I like 7in-7hold-7out for 30 minutes. After doing a breathing exercise, your normal unguided breath lengthens, allowing you to move deeper faster during meditative sitting.
