My fingers are crossed that all the billionaires, elites, and those that place a higher value on gold than simple things, will pack up and depart for that Golden Destination and leave us peasants behind

(To try and clean up their mess)

Not their style to leave us alone.  If they lay their hands on a surplus of gold, they'll just make their bath tubs and swimming-pools and Bugattis out of gold, but also regulate it just so that market prices for gold go up, not down.  (That's easy -- inflation is a tidal wave that sinks all boats -- except of course the inflated ones.)

agreed, but many have graduated (in an evil way) that is much further along than just lusting after money,  namely exercising the power of life or death over common folk!  :-(

And deep sea octopus prisons. And there are those coming solar panel mega roofs that we will all live under. No more starry nights or fresh air for us. Well, I'm sure there will be the corporate versions with inflated mandatory usage fees by the boatload.

Rather than the planned progress they are undertaking (pun, no pun?)

I'd prefer a zoo where we could all go look at the complete collection of billionaires, if we wanted to. In the zoo they can mind their own bizness and not be minding ours

Money can't buy that. ;)

I don't know what the trade off costs in pollution and money are to make solar panels in comparison to say burning natural gas and or coal and that cost but if it is a fair amount better then why not?  Btw. building those huge wind turbine/sites must be costly in pollution and money with all the chemical processes  and compounds that go into making the blades, also they are far more intrusive looking on the land.  I'm not that crazy about EV cars since it takes burning fossil fuels to power them, (besides whatever power solar can provide) although in cities for shorter drives they make sense if a well working, up to date powerhouse with stable operation and better pollution numbers provides them power compared to the lesser stability of the start and stop driving pollution created by gasoline vehicles?   All the numbers for these points is out there somewhere but we don't hear about them like we do with the reports for everything else going on!  (in an often crazy world) Nuclear power is another big topic with lots of pros and cons, especially  with its radioactive wastes!!

The end of oil was announced about 1904.  I am still waiting.   It turns out that oil and coal are continuously produced by bacteria within the planet.

A century ago Tesla discovered how to extract energy directly from the cosmos.  The technology was hard to sell to the energy industry.

When I was in NZ  I was impressed with the geo thermal energy plants .  Okay, you need to have the right environment for that , but when you do it seems VERY viable .  No real complex tech needed until you get to the electrical output stage   just like a big steam turbine .   Output was some steam and some warm water dumped in the river , but the river has vents in its bed and has natural spots of warm intrusions anyway .

I don't understand nor have looked into the science , but apparently Australia , which is very stable  also has some geo thermal potential .

At present geothermal energy is used for electricity generation and direct use applications in over 45 countries, including the western USA, Japan and New Zealand.

Although Australia is not currently volcanically active, the continent has potentially vast geothermal energy resources which fall into two general categories – Engineered Geothermal Systems (EGS or Hot Rock) and hydrothermal resources from relatively hot groundwater (also known as Hot Sedimentary Aquifers).  "

Often now when I am watching a doco on TV  there appears vast arrays of wind turbines in the back ground .

I encountered them in W.A. as well  .... freaky !

A scientific genius ahead of his time, even today.

I'm keen for that technology to be implemented.

Darkness has its seductive appeal to certain folks. We all face it; some get sucked into it. Imo, especially the ones who are confused about what "power" is.

Edit didn't work.

Will post later , when I get caught up here in "3d" land.

It's always good to see you posting here.

Irony always finds a way.

I can see them now, in that gold space ship of fools; desperately, trying to get back to the nurturing place, they've spent so much of their energy trying to destroy.

Some gotta have that bling bling. Especially corporate offered bling.

How many spend well beyond their means, trying to impress people they don't even like?

And willing to take on debt to do it.

Free endless energy shares in common with Peace, in that from the corporate mindset, there is no money in it.
