The mountain has 2 sides.

The shadow side is 1 side. The light side is 1 side.

1 shadow side + 1 light side = 2 sides

1 + 1 = 2

1 mountain having 2 sides.

The mountain remains 1 mountain.

1 = 1 and 2 = 2

There is dark within light and light within the darkness, the mountain has dark and light they can not be separated they are one. yin and yang are one. one can not exist with out the other.

If you don't want to learn, please don't leave your message here.

Did you see the title {if you want to learn....}?

I don't want to talk too much with hostile people

Please keep your hostility in your own heart

This person seems to be stuck with the old Taiwanese education culture. Before, in Taiwan, teachers had absolute authority, and students basically could only memorize what the teacher taught, and they were not welcome to ask questions. Debate or rebuttal from student to teacher was unheard of.

Largely due to the influence of Western educational culture, the old style of teaching has become increasingly unpopular in Taiwan, especially for people under the age of forty. Ironically, Awaken now uses this pedantic and outdated culture in a Western context. She seemingly did not expect that Westerners would not think that coming to "learn" means blindly trusting everything the teacher says, and she didn't understand that in modern times, a "good student" could be a student who contradicted the teacher. Even weirder, she seems to think people who aren't even her followers should put her on some pedestal and never disagree with her. I feel that this person Awaken is not looking for someone who really wants to learn. It is like she is looking for something closer to cult believers who are submissive and flattering.

Possibly it's because Taiwan already has a Miaochan and many other Great Masters, so there's too much competition here. She had to run to the west to search for believers.

The characters are 先天 , that means ’innate’.

To separate the characters and translate as ‘pre’ ‘heaven’ is like translating 天氣 (weather) as ‘heaven’ ‘chi’.

In fact, you can translate it as pre-heaven because is classical chinese, not contemporary chinese.

It could be translated as pre-heaven, before heaven or earlier heaven.

And it is not human related (it is not something innate to a human being), it is a stage in the cosmic development.

You have a xiantian bagua and a houtian bagua (and certainly these are not innate bagua and acquired bagua) and they have the trigrams in different places. Basically it refers to a pristine and undecaying state before the manifestation of the ten thousand things.

Pre Heaven generally presents a polar view that brings Heaven and Earth meet together on the horizon creating a continuous line and a broken line, thereby giving birth to Yin and Yang;

Fire rises to Heaven while Water falls to Earth. (Sometimes Fire and Water are referred to as the Sun and the Moon respectively.)

Thunder and sudden movement stirs the Winds of spring. Lake is concave in the Earth's crust while Mountain elevates from the Earth

. The Post Heaven symbol, or Cyclical View places the basic eight symbols in a circle with their corresponding properties aligned with the seasons. Most significant to the Post-Heaven symbol is the replacement of Heaven in the Pre-Heaven with with Fire (Sun and Summer), and the replacement of Earth in the Pre-Heaven with Water (Moon and Winter).

I have the impression that Taiwan is almost completely Buddhist, even though there are a lot of Taoist temples.  In bookstore, 95% of the books are Buddhist.

The meaning of classical Chinese characters depends on the context.  With 八卦 ba1 gua4 / 氣 qi4:

先 xian1 - pre / first. 後 hou4 - post / latter. 天 tian1 - innate / season.

If you go to the religious section of Eslite Books , yes, much more Buddhist. If you go to the religious section of San Min Books, very big Taoist section. The influence of Christianity is strong here too even though it has fewer believers. Many religions are hard to classify as Buddhist, Taoist or a mix or offshoot or reinterpretation. Such as Yi Kuan Tao, Tian Ti Jiao, etc.

Eslite is everywhere.  San Min got 1 store and its blue green books are printed in 2005 for my collections.  I think it is quite alright to mix religious and philosophical beliefs.  Having new religions is also exciting.   But Neidan is too technical, so it is better to be pure to avoid unwanted side effects.

At this moment I mainly practice Xingyi quan. I know some basics from Cheng Bagua (8 palms).

And I agree, bagua for the body (and yijing for the mind) it is a good way to deepen our comprehension of post heaven bagua. I think that neidan is good to understand preheaven bagua but it is a very advanced experience.

I like the air flu of Chinese landscape painting with splashing ink, but I can't find anyone who can paint it

Some people are starting to wonder if my state is the highest on the forum

The highest should not be, the strongest is not

The deepest should be

I know very well that I have cultivated very deeply

And I am not stingy to share with you the way to cultivate more and more deeply.

wu-wei, evolution

I hope more and more people can cultivate as deeply as I do

The more people who cultivate deeply, the more people will see through the deceptions of fake qigong masters

So believers of fake qigong masters will attack me

All I can do is ignore these people on this forum

Thank you to those who are willing to join me in finding the path of truth

I practiced martial arts, I worked hard for a whole year when I was 20

I have practiced Tanglangquan, Baguazhang, Taijiquan

My sect master is Liu Yunqiao

When I used to practice martial arts, my friends never talked about martial arts, we just practiced

Martial arts are nothing to talk about

No one talks about it even if we practice until we get smoke above our head

Regarding qigong, I practice spontaneous gong, which I have said many times.

If you want to talk about spontaneous gong, I can talk about it, but only if you have good intentions

I have no problem with martial arts and qigong

Only have opinions on the misappropriation of the noun of Alchemy by the transfer method

If a qigong master does not steal the name of Alchemy, I also have no problem with this qigong master

If a qigong master wants to use the name of Alchemy, don't distort the truth, please give back the truth of Alchemy

If a qigong master does not understand the nouns of alchemy, but pretends to understand and talk nonsense, then this is a fake qigong master

Anyone who wants to learn qigong should be careful of such fake qigong masters. They pretend to understand and mislead others. Such fake qigong masters are very immoral.

Some say he disdains geometric shapes in his head

I said, if you have the ability to reach it, let's talk about it.

What's the use of just bragging?

What's more, geometric figures don't appear in the head

Geometry is a phenomenon of nature

The same thing happens in yoga

The same phenomenon occurs in tantra

Of course, the same phenomenon occurs in Alchemy.

Your disdain for these phenomena is your value

There are also many people who are disdainful of practicing qigong.

There are also many people who disdain people waving sticks and dancing Tai Chi in the park.

In China, there is a famous anti-fake Sanda player who disdains Tai Chi dance.

Dao and Dharma both achieve a deep achievement in a state of meditation

This is a completely different field from martial arts that uses physical combat

What is the difference between a person who practices martial arts saying that he feels disdain for the phenomenon of entering a state of tranquility, and a person who practices a state of mindfulness and those who practice Taijiquan dance?

It's just a boring comparison of values.

That's not what I'm talking about

The main point I want to talk about is that there are many fake qigong masters who use the term alchemy to brag about their achievements. There are a lot of lies hidden in it. This is the main point I want to talk about.

I asked the publisher the other day

How much will it cost if my book is translated into English

The publisher told me it needed $5,050

too expensive

Set this thing up first

If you are interested, use google translate.

Translation costs are too high

If someone dislikes my poor google translation

I'll put this person on the ignore list

I just found an old discussion article

Finally got to know more about this forum

I should be sure that there is a small group of people who use non-violative text but have malicious text that is bullying others

This is very cunning

I don't think I want to waste my time with this kind of persons

If I'm going to write something on this forum, the only thing I can do is turn a blind eye to this small group of people, pretend I don't see them, that's the only way I can do

No wonder I keep seeing people saying they don't want to leave a message on this forum

I feel like there is an atmosphere of "bad money drives out good money"

Many people reminded me to use ignore list during the process

Why am I being forced to use the ignore list?

It's because there's a small group of people who are very good at hiding their malice with non-violating text

when you want to discuss something

This small group of people is here to mess with you

This forum doesn't have a completely blocked feature like Facebook does

So the only thing that can be done is to ignore the utilization of the function

I've also heard someone say he's ignoring two-thirds of people

I don't know how many members there are

Anyway, as long as I feel malicious, ignore it

just to use my own senses

I also observed the behavior of this small group of malicious actors

They knew very well that I put him on the ignore list

But still chasing after me

Because he knows even if I put him on the ignore list

His name will still appear in the post

This small group of people sings and sings to take the opportunity to disturb the hearts of the posters

Make the poster angry and say something insulting

In this way, this group of people can logically file a complaint against this person.

This kind of scheming is so scary

It's tiring to deal with such malicious and scheming people while sharing cultivation articles.

No wonder I saw so many good sharers disappear

No wonder these people don't want to share

This group of people is willing to waste his time on things that don't matter

Just to show his sense of self

But I don't want to waste my time on this kind of person

I am writing this for friends who are interested in my article

When I want to speak on this platform, I have to know what the dark side of this platform is and what are the rules

The rules of this platform are obviously not to insult individuals

But it's not forbidden to use obscure words to harass a person

So there is a small group of people who go down this route to harass others

Until the harassed person can't bear it anymore and speaks insulting language

So he achieves his purpose

Most people who are interested in cultivation are very kind and honest

I really don't know what to do with someone like this(malicious)

I'm also thankful that several people keep telling me to make good use of the ignore list

Of course, I also see that small group of malicious communicators keep urging me to drop the ignore list

This is very strange phenomenon

Of course, it is very difficult for a forum to maintain openness and harmony at the same time.

because there are different arguments

It is of course impossible to ask the forum to be completely in line with one's own mind

I can only research what's going on in the forum myself.

How to express my thoughts harmoniously

without being threatened by this small group of malicious spreaders

really difficult thing

Beginners come to this forum hoping to learn something new

But those who are willing to share are scared away by this small group of people

Of course this is not my forum and I don't need to worry about it

I just need to understand the unspoken rules of this forum

It's enough to ignore malicious spreaders

Master Ding a draw. His excuse, he didn’t eat enough.

From the video, “The 4 courses of Chinese martial arts: speaking, learning, amusing, singing.”

Yes, I read before that the roots of Chinese martial arts lie in rural society’s superstitious beliefs, ritual practices and opera. Practitioners believed in their own invulnerability to swords and rifle fire.

The Boxer Rebellion ended this believe in the supernatural power of martial arts.

Modern martial arts films have their root in reporting (by the new medium of film) about the Boxer Rebellion. https://chinesemartialstudies.com/2017/03/24/the-boxer-rebellion-and-stories-we-tell-about-chinese-martial-arts/
