What are you up to  now .   Your last effort  .....  

 

I better recap ... going back to the 'Honey Badger thing .  I shared that post with my ex ( a lively funny crazy Syrian/Uruguayan  Latino ) - still good friends .   She totally cracked up .  But like me she  has gone into hermitage .

 

She recently had a giant spit - met an older guy she liked  who promised her a lot but his finances and time are all tied up in legality re divorce , loosing the house etc etc . So she has gone off on an anti feminism  trip and has started sprouting men's rights stuff .

 

 

Except on friday she texts me and says she is going out for a rare night out to 'spread a wing ' . 

 

Me; ''Just one ?''

 

Her; '' One wing -  town can handle .

 

two wings  -  town come down ! '' 

 

     

 

The next day , a text recounting the nights adventures including being introduced  into a 'secret society '   (   typical of her ... realtionshio with her was  a crazy adventure  .... although she claims the same about me . ) and then she says 

 

'' You never guss what its called  .... 

 

'' The Honey Badgers ! '' 

 

So I looked them up , they aint that secret ... and I think I knew why she joined ;

So I said - aint so secret if they got a wiki page  .... sounds like a cross between Discordianism and Weather Underground  ( minus the bombings and the orgies in the back of the VW Kombi van  ) .

Liberty implies the opposite of extremism .  

 

Liberty is  the state of being free within society from oppressive restrictions imposed by authority on one's way of life, behavior, or political views.

Extremism is the promotion or advancement of an ideology based on violence, hatred or intolerance, that aims to: negate or destroy the fundamental rights and freedoms of others. 

 

So its a self defeating statement .

 

The pursuit of justice should always be moderated . 

 

Justice ;  "a concern for justice, peace, and genuine respect for people

 

while 

 

moderation is  the avoidance of excess or extremes, especially in one's behavior or political opinions . 

 

He should have listened to 'wicked' old Aleister Crowley ; 

 

Remember that unbalanced force is evil; that unbalanced severity is but cruelty and oppression; but that also unbalanced mercy is but weakness which would allow and abet Evil

 

Mr Barry M Goldwater ( whoever he was )  was  'out of balance'  ... on all counts .

Extremism has shades of black and white and isn't absolute one or the other.
