Sanity Check Posted August 10 On August 10, 2025, a stunning planetary alignment will unfold in the early morning sky as six planets—Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Uranus, Neptune, and Saturn—line up just before sunrise. This rare event, often referred to as a planetary parade, will feature four bright planets—Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, and Saturn—clearly visible to the naked eye. The more distant Uranus and Neptune will also be part of the alignment but will require binoculars or a small telescope to observe. Visible about an hour before sunrise, this cosmic display offers a beautiful and accessible moment for skywatchers around the world to witness the Solar System’s harmony.
BigSkyDiamond Posted August 10 "Do planetary alignments matter?" They matter to those who hold that as an interest.
Nungali Posted August 10 Do they 'matter ' ? . One 'matter' might be a nice night sky visual . Maybe you meant to ask do they effect us ? if so ; it is the angular relationships between the planets that cause effects , not so much if they are visually arranged in a line up from geocentric perspective . Gerard Posted August 11 (edited) Plus being an incredible Full Moon. To me it felt like a Super Moon one. Very special practice. Can't wait for September's Blood Moon (Sun 7 Sept) which is a lunar eclipse. Start of spring in the southern hemisphere. Edited: TDDF doesn't like images! Lairg Posted August 12 There are many energies that flow within the body of the solar system. Some are more refined than others. Hence the relationship between our moon and lunatics
Nungali Posted August 12 There is no significant correlation between the two . This mistaken observation can be explained in many ways . the position of Luna in a chart or in a planetary alignment does not relate to 'lunatics' ... the term is not in technical usage and is rather false and old fashioned . People may have ' mental health issues or dysfunction ' ...'lunatic' is usually an insulting term nowadays .
