How to Get more deeply in to hinduism?

Recommended Posts

I have read the bagavad gita as well someeee of the vedic texts. Isha upanishad in particular was the most enlightenting text i have every read (highly reccomend, only 18 verses).

So, since my experience so far has les to a lot of growth, i feel, what would my fellow bums advice for an even greater understanding?

The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali.

I asked ChatGPT about this book, and it sounds promising.  Yoga means unity, no? In the answer i got from god/ai, it seems like thiw book is mostly theoratical. Is that the case, and any thoughts on yoga (as the excersize we westerners now it as), mantras, meditations etc?

I like Jnanadeva or Jnanashwara the 13th century Marathi poet.  He has two main works, one a commentary on the Bhadavad Gita (on religion) and one his own view of spirituality he wrote for his guru called Amritanubhava.
