Jing Nourishment

Why does Jing get nourished anyways? What nourishes it? If the whole Taoist Jing to Chi to Shen to Emptiness to Tao alchemy happens.. its cause one has stopped leaking their Jing and the Jing eventually evaporating into Chi and the Chi eventually reaching the head and Brightening the Shen.

Is it just the state of rest that one achieves in meditation that stops the leakage of Jing or that state of rest is what allows the Jing to be nourished?

This idea is from a long time ago when people were living naturally.

 

At that time, eating from nature, most people had times of starvation or less resources.

 

Today, most people have chronic illness, and most of this illness is due to excess.

 

This excess Jing is part of the energy that, for example, cancer tumors are built from.

 

The modern civilized diet is designed to both provide this excess, and also provide a form of brain-based starvation as "nutritional deficiencies" that dull the mind and render it useful for things like TV "programming".

 

With limited access to food, sexual activity becomes an issue - because sex is a discharge of excess that results in reproduction.

 

So they are saying, do not waste your energy.

 

Modern people all stuffed with junk foods and meat do not have so much that issue.

 

They have other issues.

you sort of answered other questions I had for sure... but it didn't really address the question of what allows for the most "efficient" replenishment of Jing/chi/shen... what are the conditions or whatever... what do some people seem to be full of inexhaustible energy and some are sort of low and tired all the time? This seems to be related to the whole Jing Chi Shen which is central to a human body. 

Something that seems to set a Taoist "Immortal" apart from just your typical sentient being is they are deeply involved with deep meditation. I assume that has a lot to do with it... achieving that state of rest or ease, off the hamster wheel of stress and whirling emotions... which can be exhausting... If one is always sort of resting and cozy, no matter the circumstance they happen to be in... its likely they are using up way less Jing/Chi and maybe even continually nourishing these, despite going on with daily life activities that can potentially be stressful

Which would supply bodily metabolic energy better - positive thinking, or 100lbs of rice?

 

Can you name any part of the human body that is not made from food?

 

And what is "food"?

 

Let's say we have as "food" a carrot.

What is this "carrot" if not air, water, soil, magnetism - or, in other words, the overall "environment"?

 

Food is a concentrated form of the overall environment from which we arise and to which we will return.

 

This is obviously a major part of the "Qi exchange" between us and our environment.

 

Our "constitution", what we are "constituted" of, could be seen as the result of this exchange.

 

So this is just one suggestion as to where to look for development and replenishment.

You'll have to explain how positive thinking supplies metabolic energy... Obviously that much rice at once would be a very heavy meal :)

So we are reworking the idea of energy?

 

Jin means energy.. so we ask what are the sources of energy as dark matter..

 

The display is based on memory.. which was previous potential.. and future potential energy.. or otherwise dark energy..Aether is key to this concept..

 

How can you gain energy? Well its through the roots of Jing itself..

 

Projection, planning for the future goes straight to the source of the aether or otherwise Jin. 

 

Also memories which are stored in the akashic record player... which is the same as Aether/Dark Energy/Jin(g).. thus and therefore.. simply remembering can trigger an energy transference which could therefore supply you with energy..

 

So its like we are benefiting from memory.. and imagination.. and not lie.. that puts the gin in imagination!

You trillions of thought which essentially are thought-forms. Energy structures. Mind gets frozen/stoned in them wasting energy to maintain them - their form. A meditator who can go into true hard jhana for example can get a nights rest in minutes.

I definitely have realized how powerful "imagination" is since taking up energy and qi-gong practices...

You can't drive or speak on the phone while in it : ))

 

The whole body bliss will throw you out and will take time to adjust. You are also deeply changed/cleared of issues. So as you jhana you won't show much hate/ego/etc. Not that you have transcended those but they will be regularly cleared out deeply from you. I know a guy claiming to have mastered first few jhanas but hes very invidious.

Your Yin reserves is what it is:

 

1. Fluid ‚ÄĒ-> essence of the kidneys. Jing. Pre-natal slowly gets depleted (ageing process). We can slow this process down significantly by building upon post-natal Jing...like a savings a/c. The more you save up the less pre-natal Jing is used up.

2. Solid ‚ÄĒ-> quality food eaten peacefully and mindfully.¬†Junk food does not build up post-natal Jing.

#Chinese herbs. 

3. Rest. Sleep

4. Meditation/energy work/mindfulness which directly affects no 1.

 

Air quality, good water and a peaceful living environment (mountain, near the ocean vs. big polluted city with lots of stress) are also a major influence.
