Hi all!

Recommended Posts

Greetings, I'm a guy in my late 20s and I was looking for quite a while for a good forum about taoism and qigong and it seems I've finally found one.

Since taoism is really vast, I'll say that the main field i'm interested is the one finalized for self health.

I've been practicing taichi  for a few years and I've read some books about qigong (mostly from Yang Jwing Ming).

Right now im doing researches about small circulation and semen retention and I hope to find a teacher soon to safely guide me in those practices.

Hi atrus,

From Wikipedia, "small circulation" is sounded out thus:

The 'Microcosmic Orbit (小周天), also known as the 'Self Winding Wheel of the Law' and the circulation of light is a Taoist Qigong or Taoist yoga Qi energy cultivation technique. It involves deep breathing exercises in conjunction with meditation and concentration techniques which develop the flow of qi along certain pathways of energy in the human body.

It depicts the flow as such:

Why are you linking "small circulation and semen retention"?

It is good that you are thinking along this line - "I hope to find a teacher soon to safely guide me in those practices".

But what if you cannot "find a teacher"?

Your "researches" pertain to... ?

Welcome.

Because one of the methods to activate the small circulation require the accumulation of qi in the lower dan tian through semen retention.

For now I'll finish reading a couple of books and then read the more interesting posts in the forum. Then I'll decide.
I've read about people ruining their  prostate because they practice in the wrong way, so I'll think twice before ruining my health.

You mean where I'm getting all the infos?
If so, there's the list of the books I've read:
-Qi gong (yang iwing-ming)
-Tai Chi Theory and Martial Power(yang iwing-ming)
-the multi-orgasmic man (mantak chia)

If you mean about my goals, it's to obtain a better health(i'm not sick) and better sexual life(multiple orgasm).
