How to recognize the wrong dan dao?

Recommended Posts

Every schools have a lot of Ming methods.

[...]

Ming methods are very easy to find.

But 性功xing gung is very hard to find.

[...]

So Ming gung teachers are everywhere, but Xing gung teachers is very rare.

[..]

A teacher only knows Ming gung can only be a Qi-gung teacher, but can not be a dan dao teacher.

I thing you are confusing Qi-Gong and Taoist Alchemy.

In the modern world we have actually absolutely opposite situation:

On the one hand there are thousands of self-growth systems which are working with Xing, cultivating it through meditations, relaxation, mind exercises, visualizations, praying to Gods etc. All of that is part of Xing Gong. Some of these systems really gives good results (purifying the heart and cleaning the mind). However:

This is exactly what in the Taoist alchemy is called "perfecting of xing without perfecting of ming – Is the first disease of perfection."

On the other hand there are only few Schools which are having the method of longevity and having the secret of not dying. And its really difficult to find such a Teacher. That is the secret Emperors were hunting for, that is the secret everybody striving to get. And this is the most precious treasure Chinese Civilization saved for us today!

So Ming Gong is nothing similar to the Qi-Gong if you want to know more about differences please read the article of WuLiupai Patriarch:

How do I deal with these businessman?

I don't know how.

If one is eager for chasing money, they will have a lot of desire.

Desire is very powerful.

But we can see there are still many people in the forum try to warn us the tricks of these businessman.

I give my highest respect to these kind people

Thank you very much

Because of you

The world is still full of hopes

Now come back to our point.

法即非法 is the biggest secret in dan dao and Buddhism.

"Methods are not methods."

All the methods are right and wrong at the same time.

Why?

When these methods show up by themselves, they are right.

But if we think these methods are methods to be repeated again and again.

We lost our awareness.

These methods become wrong.

When we know the dao, all methods appear by themselves without teaching.

A dao teacher will not teach his students to repeat these dead methods again and again.

A dao teacher will lead his student to cultivate by dao and this student will find these methods appear naturally without learning.

A dao teacher just lead his student to cultivate in dao.

Every student has different mind and body.

Every student will need different methods to deal with different problems.

A dao teacher don't teach them methods.

Just show the way of dao

The students will find their own different methods.

When methods show up, methods die.

Methods is alive when they are showing up.

When this method disappear, another method appear.

In dao, methods show up by themselves.

We don't need to learn other people's dead methods.

We follow dao and let our own methods show up.

We must trust dao.

Dao will lead us.

Methods just repeat somebody's dead experiences.

His experiences are not suitable for everyone.

A teacher can share his experiences , but he should not let his students to practice his experiences again and again.

He should lead his student to show his own methods.

Again, it seems like you are confusing qigong and Taoist Alchemy.

In qigong systems - there are a lot of methods which are leading to different results.
But the Great Dao is always achieved through one universal method (universal in principle) and it leads always to the same results.

Please read article I posted above (the link). That will explain you the difference.

Second point - we are not studying dead methods :) . Traditional Schools always have transmission from heart to heart from ancient times and the method is alive

What about books - there is no way to get the secret of Ming gong form them. However they are pointing students to widespread mistakes of charlatans and impostors who are pretending to be a "teacher".

So, how does the internal experience of the true Ming exercise differ from qigong?

Thanks for your question, Mudfoot.
Please read the chapter of book written by current WuLiupai patriarch -  Teacher of Single Yang:
http://all-dao.com/difference-qigong-alchemy.html
It clarifies basic differences between the Taoist Alchemy and qigong.

However I wouldn't publish here the internal experience because couple of reasons:
1. That will be not your experience, but someone else. And that is not the way we follow in WuLiupai.
2. That info could be used by false teachers for describing their own self-made systems.
I hope you'll understand me.

Anyway, soon we'll publish more interesting materials about Taoist Schools.
Thank you.

In the doctrine of our School all that you mentioned is related to Xing gong, however this is only the one-half of Taoist Alchemy practice.

Please clarify who exactly are you calling businessman and what kind of business are you talking about? It could be interpreted in several ways.

Also please answer two important questions I asked before:

Work with Ming = work with yuanqi. Do you claim that everyone knows how to work with yuanqi

Work with Xing = work with the heart. Do you claim that nobody knows how to work with the heart? (meditations, keeping quiet, lights etc.)

Thank you
