Yea I should have gone back and read the original post first. @Stream I don’t have a concise explanation for eastern medical alchemy but I can say there do exist pills and other concoctions (called “dan” in Chinese) that can increase your qi production significantly, other have healing effects etc This is known as kanli dan. It is for producing jing, sperm, and blood, harmonizing yin and yang, balancing water and fire, and is good for all kinds of deficiencies and internal injury.

Actively converting jing to qi to shen Oh I failed, you said eastern alchemy, not eastern internal alchemy

No, you don't have to build a Dantian

If you don’t have an “activated” or “built” dantian, you can do all the cultivation you like but qi will not stay in your lower abdomen and will frequently rise. It’s not a problem in the beginning stages of practice but after a while if you are accumulating a lot of qi without a place to store it, you will run into lots of health issues down the line. -

Yes but no cash is needed for dantian activation specifically. In fact you could just pay for one seminar to learn the method and nothing else and you would be able to activate your dantian yourself with diligent practice and good health. It takes roughly 18 months for a healthy person to activate their dantian with these methods. You could also go to see a master and they could activate it instantly, some charge for it, some do it for free, but the point is you don’t need to. You can do it yourself. Ok but that’s not answering the question that I asked relating to what you said: “There is also a claim that this group teaches one to be a conduit rather than a generator, so very few ever develop the ability to emit qi independent of the teacher.” Who is making this claim? It’s the first time I’ve heard of it, and it’s not true in any way. The whole point of the practice is to be a generator. It’s what we learn to do from the first day. How is this related? We are talking about dantian activation (or dantian “building”) not qi emission. -

I don’t have previous experiences, I started with his method and Flying Phoenix Qigong which doesn’t focus on dantian activation at all. In fact it doesn’t follow the traditional qigong model but that is off topic here. As for how to know you have an activated lower dantian that can store qi? The easiest way without a teacher is that it will show up on those new full body airport security scanners. The machine will beep and on the screen there will be an alert where the lower dantian is. -

Well I’ve never gone to meet him in person, and I’ve activated my dantian with the methods he’s taught. Many other students too. -

It is possible, it will just take a long time. I will let you know when it happens. -

There is not a large amount of cash needed for activation of dantian, just your time and effort to do proper practice -

-ꦥꦏ꧀ ꦱꦠꦿꦶꦪꦺꦴ- replied to SodaChanh's topic in Daoist Discussion
Technically it would not be “building” the lower dantian but reactivating the existing lower dantian to be able to store qi. What we are taught is that everyone has an active lower dantian from birth, but for some reason it stops being active after puberty. So the first goal in neigong would be to make it active to be able to store qi again. -
My Experience With Black Magic
-ꦥꦏ꧀ ꦱꦠꦿꦶꦪꦺꦴ- replied to Nuralshamal's topic in Esoteric and Occult Discussion
It’s very similar in South East Asia too. Black magic is prevalent amongst all religions and ethnic groups. In Singapore my Chinese friend’s restaurant would have black magic curses left by the back entrance from competing businesses. My Malay friend had a sibling that passed away from a miscarriage, almost every time they go to visit the grave there would be the leftovers of a ritual done by others over it. There is no shortage of hate too! Even amongst the Buddhist nations of Thailand, Myanmar and Cambodia they are eternally fighting each other.- 145 replies

Tao Tan Pai is a good set of qigong that fits well with Flying Phoenix. Sifu Terry also teaches it, and it can be done right before FP too, you don’t need to space it out. One thing you can also do if standing is an issue is do Monk Holds Pearl lying down on your back. The other two static forms can only be done standing though -

I’m not gonna bother, this thread is getting completely derailed now so I want to show @Nuralshamal respect and not contribute further to derailment. Him and others know what I mean so no need to explain.- 145 replies

I have to agree with @Nuralshamal and @Lala Nila It is very obvious if you are of mixed heritage how different each group is. There’s nothing wrong with it, no one is better and no one is worse for it, just different. Of course not everyone in a group is 100% the same, we are just talking generally. For example, being half Javanese and half English, one very obvious observation I’ve noticed is that for the English, you would be considered weird for believing in the supernatural, spirits, energy etc, but for the Javanese, you would be considered weird if you didn’t believe in it.- 145 replies

What is your diet like? If you want to ground your energy, eat beef and drink bone broth. Also stand on grass barefoot like others said.

Well one of them is just a DVD and the other is online classes where you can talk to the teacher directly. There are a few Romanians in Authentic Neigong, I was also living in Bucharest when I started learning it too! If you are very serious about learning and are unable to pay the full price at the moment, the teacher Rudi might be able to give a discount or work something out. Check out this thread if you want to hear reviews students:
