So , could be worth it ..... you might meet someone nice My 'New Age workshop joke ' ; A lonely guy that cant link up with woman decides to go to a new age emotional workshop , maybe that will work . The focalizer asks them to pair off for an exercise . He ends up being paired with this nice looking woman . They are told to look deep into each others eyes and tell the other a truth they are sitting on ... dont be afraid or embarrassed , this is a safe space , so share your truth with your partner . Of course they don't . Thoughts can be 'ingrained' responses or even reactions that we can pick up all over the place, especially when young . Thoughts then can be 'intellectual responses' from emotive triggers . I can hear the echoes of some thoughts still in my head when I do certain things , those thoughts sometimes are in the words and accent of those that first said them . Sometimes, like affirmations, I might even repeat them out loud . The more prominent ones are usually from people we admire , opinions we value or some other dynamic that caused them to 'embed' . Even a great, 'original' , brilliant thought ( and the greater and more brilliant it is ) is likely to be a 'message' , ie. you are the 'conduit' . The issue is to 'master' your thoughts and have control over them ..... not the other way around . Oh great ! The new future of theater . Instead of watching a group of actors on a stage perform a work , we will be able to watch a group of actors on a stage acting, recording themselves , downloading it onto a computer , then getting the computer to create the back drop and scenery and project it on to a screen behind them so we can watch the brilliant innovations of computer technology . I cant wait until they come to my local town's theater !
