Btw, I recently bought some all beef dogs thinking they would have less additives but after eating several I later read the label fine print noting sodium nitrate was added, which normally I never buy anything that has that in it since its supposedly a cancer causing agent! Nungali Posted Wednesday at 09:00 PM Hot dog cars back ? Is that because all the taco vans got rounded up and deported back to Mexico ? '' Open up in there ! What are you having for dinner ? It better be 'all- American ! ''
old3bob Posted Wednesday at 09:03 PM (edited) wonder what frame and engine it has underneath the dog, AI might know...(this is a nutty thread) Yep it did: The modern Oscar Mayer Wienermobile is powered by a 6.0-liter General Motors (GM) Vortec V8 engine. This engine is generally found on a Chevy or Isuzu NPR truck chassis, providing approximately 300 horsepower to move the 14,000-pound fiberglass hot dog. (yikes) and that is just what they are admitting to ! What else could be in there ? 3. Physical Foreign Matter and Contaminants Recalls and tests have identified several foreign materials inside hot dogs: Bone and Cartilage: Multiple recalls have occurred due to bone fragments in hot dogs. Metal and Plastic: Fragments of metal and clear, white plastic have been found. Insect Larvae: Reports have indicated the presence of insect larvae. Other Objects: Rubber bands and unidentified animal parts. 4. Unlabeled Fillers and Additives Mechanically Separated Meat: Known as "pink slime" or "white slime," this is a paste-like mixture created by forcing bones with remaining flesh through a sieve. Fillers: Soy protein concentrate, starch (corn or potato), and milk powder. Undisclosed Allergens: Hydrolyzed soy protein or soy lecithin not mentioned on the label - dont worry about 1 and 2 (missing ) they were just other meats like buffalo and horse and human DNA .

Try this ; mix mince with pepper and salt , a pinch of mixed Italian herbs ( NOT the 'English' mix ) and ground up (you can crush it in your hand and fingers ) Asian fried shallots make into patties ... old3bob Posted 20 hours ago (edited) how about those nuts that stuff an incredible number of hot dogs into themselves in a timed competition, sounds like an easy way to choke and die! (I'd rather stuff apple pie and ice cream but one could still choke and die in doing that or have a dangerous sugar overload) The T.T.C. says something about knowing when enough is enough. btw, someone did nice fiberglass work on the Wienermobile, and an example of ,"different strokes for different folks". lol Edited 20 hours ago by old3bob

zerostao Posted 13 hours ago way back in the hazbin days,,,,one of my Great-Grandfathers (they were all great, but i digress) ran a hot dog stand in a small town of about 3000 folks, back then, under 1500 now, i digress again! and sold the recipe for his hotdog sauce to a local restaurant for enough money to move to portsmouth ohio and buy a corner store there. the restaurant, finally went out of bizness post circa 2000, but in its heydey, acheived local legendary status when a Mr. Alphonse Capone enjoyed a hotdog with sauce, fries, and a coke, on one of his many leisurely excursions to the bluegrass state. the restaurant got the fame as part of the recipe deal, and were still in bizness until after 2000.

He was the pet of a surfer guy ( that found him at sea covered in oil . Cleaned him up and let him go but he kept coming back ) and used to hang around the wharf where we went fishing and give him the small fry . Boy could that little guy eat . One day we decided to see how many fish he could fit in there so just kept giving him the small fry and 'wharf' fish we were catching . Thing is the amount of fish he ate seemed bigger than the penguin ! and his stomach didnt even look big . We decided to stop before he did , thought we might explode him or something . a fairy penguin about to do a right hand turn ;

Sometimes described as the first 'girl band' . They would tarvel around and promote mystical philosophies and perform rituals through performance art During his Russian Tour in 1913 he took the troupe to Moscow and St Petersburg performing at 'The Aquarium ' a popular ;pleasure garden ' .
