Tommy Posted Wednesday at 01:20 PM Welcome to the forum, Ā Nice to meet new members. I have not developed an interest in Taoism. Please, may I ask how you became interested in Taoism? I like Zen and Zen Buddhism. Also, auto mechanics. Have owned several cars over the years. All used and all with issues. So got an interest in auto mechanics. Found Zen Buddhism to be interesting as it seemed like a handbook of the human soul. Of course, opinions change over time. Would be interested to know what you like about Taoism?? Along the way, I came in contact with Taoism and qigong, and noticed that qigong helped me regulate and understand those energies. Taoism felt like one of the natural paths for me. Ā Zen emphasizes simplicity, stillness. Ā (and sometimes goes to excess in that way) Daoism emphasizes energetic work. Welcome, Mehmet! The idealism in Taoism is to cope with nature in a natural way. It is to blend in and integrated oneself withĀ nature as a whole. It is to generate all the positive aspects of nature and degenerate the negatives. Qigong and meditation areĀ a good combination in Taoism practice. Hope to hear more from you!
