Rubbish !    I AM  the fastest swordsman  on the internet !

Just last week I was sitting in the garden , sword by my side , in its sheath .  I was entertaining some young ladies , they had served tea and I was amazing them with tales of my prowess . But one winced and fanned the air ;  ' Oh , a mosquito ! '  she exclaimed .

'Allow me .' I offered . and like a flash I  drew , slashed and re seathed .  'That will teach that little annoyance some respect .' I announced .

One of the women observed ; 'But  it is still flying about with an annoyed buzzing .'

'Yes,' I answered , 'But that mosqito , he  will never have children again !  '

Martial arts are not what I'm best at.

Seeing this, however.

Makes me feel like getting a plastic or rubber practice sword and refining technique from zero.

A good thing about plastic swords.

Practice correct posture. Practice sequences and technique.

No chance of accidental injury.

One will never have a correct posture with a non-metal replica weapon. The feeling of the weights of the weapons is never the same. The lightness of the non-metallic weapon does not give one the true feeling of the original weapon. To me, it just doesn't feel right anyway.

But none of that will matter if he only ever uses a plastic sword  ;)

There was a lightsaber dueling tournament last year.

$50,000 prize for 1st place.

$20,000 2nd.

$10,000 for 3rd.

Maybe its time to put that steel sword down.

And pick up a plastic one.

He's a multi millionaire youtuber, he can afford $50k purse.

Organizing the logistics of a completely new sport take time.

You could get one of the internet ....

I've seen that before, that poor guy.

He did more to educate the public on a difference between castings and forgings of swords than anyone.

At least I think it was a metal casting that broke so easily. Could also have been inferior metals.

Crap swords  .... crap people pretending to know how to handle them .

Once at a 'karate demo' I was watching . Some karate dude in his white pajamas and black belt seems to think he knows wheat he is doing . he is going to cut  something in front of a crowd , with a 'real live sharp Samurai  sword '   ... he hoicks the sword up above his head to cut down ... and the blade flies off the handle and lands somewhere behind him .... in the audience .

Another one  ;  guy lies with a concrete block under ankles and head and suspends himself while another  (again  both in white karate pajama pants  ) is going to cut through a watermelon on the other's stomach .... he nearly did it,   the sword didn't  cut through the lower edge of the rind , so he gave it a little slice ..... guy underneath ended up getting 16 stitches across his stomach
