my mind is still being adjusted by the demon

My friend the demon does not exist.

It is an archetype.  A gate, a pit, a box with an open lid that craves and craves and craves with no end in sight.  It is nothing more than an empty husk of nothingness.  ( That's why you are able to *crush* it )

I promise, the demon is an empty vessel.  It is a "non-thing".

Eta: I suppose I should name this non-thing, since I'm pretty sure I know it.  It is Lilith.  A non-thing disguised as TrueLove.  But really it's a bottomless pit of desire.

The desire to help those in need is right in its wheelhouse.

@helpfuldemon, the 7 pointed star, the goat... that's Lilith.... The blue geometric symbol, sounds like a binding.

in our PMs I mentioned an "Other God" that I know...That's Pan, one of the greek "other Gods".  and He/She ( Pan ) prefers the SriYantra. not the 7 pointed star.

Hopefully that clears up some confusions...

The way I proposed to help people was to give them a lead on understanding, but my pursuit of knowledge never led me to Wisdom, at least not in the practical sense.  What it led me to was the understanding that a lot of Wisdom is simply opinion, and that it cannot prevent bad choices.  I also realized, to my chagrin, that people do not have to listen to Wisdom- something that should be obvious, but that I never considered, I always thought that if I could find the right words there would be no denying them.  This fact broke my spirit, and I have given up trying.  In light of what you say, that people need to redeem themselves, yes, they need to figure out on their own what is the right answer, but that does not mean someone shouldnt be putting out what the right answers are.  Because of my madness, I have lost track of what a right answer might be.  Im out of steam, I cannot bring myself to imagine scenarios to provide Wisdom.  Im not a lawmaker either, so theres really no point in me bothering.  Im a little voice that influences nothing.  Im lucky to have survived this long enough to come to any understanding at all anyway, so it is fine for me to stop, so long as the demon lets go, which it thankfully has (for now- no telling if it will return, its returned in the past).

I got to thinking, after my last post, what Wisdom do I have?  I thought Id take a stab at it here.

Obey Laws.  When you break a Law a cloud forms over your aura, and you begin to fear law enforcement, creating a paranoia.  You become a liar, and liars create webs that snare themselves.  Unless you are going to break the law without care, this will wear on you.  If the Law is unbearably unjust, then revolt, but remember:  revolutionaries die, or are incarcerated, and ask yourself before you choose this:  is it worth it?

Keep what you earn.  Protect what you have.  Do not give it away, unless you expect nothing in return.  People will simply use you up and abandon you for the next target.  Of course, this is not always the case, for in love, we share.  Only do this if you are committed and wealthy enough to protect and support your lover.  There is advice that you should give everything away, and when you do, there are events that can take place to those kinds of souls, but from experience, I do not see the payoff.

Give honor to what people honor, though you do not adhere to it yourself.  No point in conflicting with peoples beliefs unless it stops you from practicing your own.  Again, this is revolutionary, and should be done with care and caution.  If you possess a different way, prove that it is good and wise, rather than aggressively fighting over it.  Most people avoid conflict and struggle.  Most people do not want to be contested.

Be strong and firm in your convictions,  Stand your ground.  There is no need to compromise with someone that does nothing to benefit you, since they do not see eye to eye with you anyway.  Compromise only when it benefits your long term wealth.

Wisdom is knowing when and how to compromise.

I want to thank everyone for letting me post here.  This has been very therapeutic.  I never quite understood existence from the point of view of Nature, and I never really understood the cultural evolution that took place because of this realization.  I had read about it, but hadnt really pieced it all together.  I believe this is one theory of how human beings can live, and I believe it is important, because the spirit of Nature is glorious and free, and passionate, and having spent my youth in such a fashion, I am grateful to have had that experience- though I now see it was foolish and reckless.  I see more starkly now the civilized truth, and the need for co-operation, charity and mercy.

If you pay attention, every breath of yours can be as amazing and exciting as the latest Nintendo is for an enthusiast. Trust me.

I have been through that phase. Everything was vaporous. My feelings, my emotions, my family and all life around me.

Then, I discovered that I am not what I thought I am. I never was. I am something else. Something I have never been able to think or observe. What is that something? I do not know. However, I believe that when I do, it will be amazing.

Until then, I can explore my daily life. I can explore the indifference I sometimes feel towards the world around me, I can explore the panic setting in when there are surprise quizzes in the uni, I can explore the joy when I listen to a song and dance to the tune. In fact, as I become more and more meditative, things becomes more and more amazing.

The feeling of not wanting to pay attention to anything is probably because you still falsely perceive life. We all do, but all of us are to some extent, driven by the motivation of becoming one with something or the other. For a practitioner, it's themselves. For a common man, it's his family and friends, for an otaku, it's his games and its characters. To some extent, everyone is driven towards that oneness.

When your ego gives up that feeling of oneness, that is what prompts people to suicide. They (ones that suicide) believe themselves to be all alone. I am not saying that they might not be alone in their lives. Their family and friends, and even their societies might have abandoned them. However, if there is even a shred of oneness with something or someone, they wouldn't dare to give up life.

So, yeah. If you have become the sort that considers the world to be illusory, I highly recommend you to go ahead and live like a total lowlife for a few days. Do whatever you want to do (except harming others, alcohol or drugs), watch porn, have sex, listen to music, dance, and go on. When you are able to start feeling the emotions, instantly create a bit of distance between them and yourself. Know that you are not happy/ sad/ excited or whatever. You are you, you are not the emotion. You are not indifference, neither are you sadness nor happiness. When this realization comes up, you will see what it means to feel amazed.

When I think about the Nature of humans from an animal perspective, I realize that there are no laws when it comes to desire and hunger and shelter, but as we have minds, I recognize that the mind is what has enabled us to rise above our animal condition, and when I think of God, who I believe is not just an idea, but a reality, I recognize that we have been blessed with minds to protect us. As God is mind, and above our condition, I think about what our minds might be best suited for, and I realize that this is all about civilization and survival, and so I have decided that God loves duty and kindness best, for those are the most excellent attributes of mankind that lead to our survival.

There aren't laws for humans from an animal perspective?

There is at least one law from an animal perspective:  Humans are the product of their ( our ) circumstances and genetic potential.  It's simple cause and effect  phenomena that can be recognized by animals, plants, humans, and others.

I agree that this is an observable rule, but it isnt the type of Law I was referring to.

You can walk peacefully and do what is required, accepting what comes, or you can struggle with the challenges of desire.
