Learning about cultivations of human relationships between God & Women

Recommended Posts

Dear Dao Bums, my name is 康真73. My surname is 康 which means "Health" in chinese and "真" is not really my official name. However, "真" means "True" in chinese so "康真73" means "Healthy Truth" in chinese.

康真73 is a spiritual psychologist by profession using the theories of spiritualities to reconcile emotional problems of women with their lack of spirituality and lack of faith in God. However, 康真73 is still learning about the cultivations of human relationships between women and God. 康真73 is more of a specialist between God and women rather than between God and men.

Why do you think there are less "professional" spiritual authorities of the female gender than the male gender? Do you all think that women in general are less spiritual than men just because there are many more monks in this world than nuns?

I will share more soon in my next few posts once my initial post gets approved.

Hello Healthy Truth, and welcome.

Your membership is approved and we're happy you found your way to us. We look forward to accompanying you on some of the way that you still have to go.

Please take the time to read the two posts pinned at the top of this Welcome page and take a look at the forum terms and rules. This covers all you need to know when getting started.

For the first week you will be restricted to ten posts per day but after that you can post as much as you like. Also, until you’ve posted fifteen times in the forums, you’ll be a “Junior Bum” with somewhat restricted access and will be allowed only two private messages per day.

Good luck in your pursuits and best wishes to you,

Marblehead and the TDB team

Hi Healthy Truth,

Putting "women" and "God" in the same sentence makes me nervous.

You are welcome to jump right in ongoing discussions, revive an older thread, start a new thread of your own, or start a discussion in the "Newcomer Corner" sub-forms to expand on your introduction or ask general questions to help you get started.

May you enjoy your time here.

Hi Marblehead,

Happy Easter.

When I put my mother, wife, daughter, sister ... and the Divine in the same sentences, I touch base with the goodness of yin energies.

Good Yang is nothing without good Yin.

Welcome!

I'm not a big fan of generalizations.

People are unique that's for sure.

And we each are trying to do our best in our own way.

Or so I believe.

Regards.

Hi Cold,

Cool - agree everyone is unique. Each of our chosen paths - a road less traveled.

But when I started to explore Taoism, I took a generalist approach as I knew next to nothing then.

Now I am more selective - I'm skewed to philosophical Taoism.

As for the divide between Woman and Man, there is no division for me.

I'm both - but more man than woman as physically I am a man.

Hi 康真73,

At the end of your above posting, you have indicated thus - " I will share more soon in my next few posts once my initial post gets approved".

I am waiting for your "next few posts" so that we can have some healthy discourses in the name of "healthy truths".

Your topic - Learning about cultivations of human relationships between God & Women - is pretty broad.

Perhaps with your intended sharing, we can (i) have an appropriate platform from which conversations can take roots and (ii) narrow down discursive scopes to manageable proportions.

Marblehead - I am sure you will be less nervous, now that this (from you) is up for examination - "Putting 'women' and 'God' in the same sentence makes me nervous". Not to worry, the ladies will hold your hands - right gals?

An interesting and controversial top. Though __73 has been banned, s\he did ask valid questions about women in positions of spiritual authority.

My take is there have been 2 things removed or let's say depreciated over the past 2,000 years: women and the spirit (sub-conscious, right-brained education, etc. which ever you prefer to call it). The goddess was removed from alongside god. And the teachings of the god-head has been emphasized more than the teachings of the operation of the spirit\god-body (arch-angels, deities, neteru, sephirot).

I think the domination of the Abrahamic religions played a major role; though the principles of the feminine have undergone an exponential awakened since the 90's.

Man God banned her.

Really ?  Send a couple of Mods around to smash up their computer  ( and  rip up their cigarettes and throw that giant party size pack of burger rings out the window .

Did anyone get a wedgie?

Banning 康真73 is the easiest thing to do.

Shouldn't we give her a chance to hear her out?

There must be a reason(s) why she had started the topic.

Each of us lives a different life with an inimitable set of ups and downs. To each her/his own.

Also some of us just happen to use words differently - some good and some just so so.

She had been given numerous chances while using different member names that had been approved.  She wanted to make her own rules as she went along and totally ignored the advice from the Moderators as well as Admin.

It's fine to play by your own rules.  It's really easy.  Create your own site and forum.

The work that Marblehead and other volunteers here on tdb's is often taken for granted, and rarely appreciated!

Thanks Marblehead and all volunteer staff!

Surprisingly the procedures in place here work well and the longevity and breadth of this forum are proof.

As Marblehead stated we are all free to start our own site, or to abide by the rules here.

Hi Marblehead,

Thank you for the clarity.

I accept closure on this your stand - transparency, responsibility and accountability.

My personal sense of freedom is similarly anchored. I am against wayward wind, It blows nobody any good.

It is nice to know that an "Imitation God" (IG) can be so real.

But it is fear-provoking to know that "He" is good at frying/firing recalcitrant fishes.

I do not wish to be fried or fired by the IG holy grail.

A good weekend

Hi cold,

Can I squeeze these into your post?

(i) Surprisingly => not surprised.

(ii) Longevity and breadth + depth.

Is it alright to talk about "length" at this forum? I am over 18.

Take something hot.

Ladies cultivate better human relationships with God through tears has been split to it a new thread for discussion.

We try to limit the Welcome forum to engaging with new members.

Hi Kar3n,

You are very kind to push me off my 'Welcome' nest as any mother bird would. But didn't you know that there was a 'qicat' waiting for me below the tree as easy meat?

This 'cat' likes fish atypical of 'all' feline creatures. But he also has an eye for young birds (which male in his right frame of doesn't - including tomcats?)

Just to update you - I am alive at my new destination as my Taoist destiny would have it.

But Tommy 'qc' is there trying to trap me with '4 pillars'.

If '3=e', your maternal instincts are intact as a natural Taoist yin game changer.

Hi Kar3n,

This will be my last posting on this thread – with a clarification + some disquiet on the abrupt allocation to General Discussion (GD).

I was attracted to the original topic because of the label ‘women’. The attraction was far from constructive. I am uncomfortable with labels of any kind put in dubious contexts.

I tried and hoped to steer clear off labelling by moving thus: ‘women’ => ‘ladies’ => human beings + tears. In my mind ‘ladies’ is softer and easier for disentanglement.

But midway I was trimmed in my efforts and now I found myself as the embarrassed originator of this topic in GD: “Ladies cultivate better human relationships with God through tears“.

Can I be spared of this embarrassment by having the above GD topic be re-titled thus: “Human relationships with God flow with tears”?

I like to be freed from this label - ‘ladies’.

We are all just human beings without labels.

Yes, of course, my sincerest apologies.

Hi Kar3n,

I had indicated that my posting on 24 May 2017 re this thread would be my last. But there was no closure for me. Why? I felt that I had not adequately addressed the association of ‘tears’ and ‘women’ from a guy’s perspective.

Now I like to make good my above inadequacy with this which had influenced my association:

- On March 16, 2016, when President  Obama nominated Merrick Garland to serve as an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court, he “cried during his nomination speech and it was a humble moment” (Becky Bracken).

Bracken added:

- Obama nominated a distinguished … legal mind … but this powerful … Judge Merrick cried during his nomination speech, showing how much the honor of being nominated for the position means to him.

- To find someone … marked by complex and sensitive issues, to find someone who just about everyone not only respects but genuinely likes, that is rare.

- (He) is, not just as lawyer but as a man.

- Garland took the podium and delivered a speech ... Breaking into tears, he described his parents … And he thanked his mother, sisters, wife, and daughters.

- His dad Cyril died in 2000, but Garland said he wished his father would have lived to see his son nominated to the Supreme Court.

I like to believe that most people can identify with Bracken's words.

Now I am at peace.

(p.s. Thank you 康真73 for initializing this thread.)
