Legal question

Recommended Posts

Hi Sean!

Happy New Year 2013!

So, here I am on a thread, in discussion with Immortal4life, and he tells me he's 17.

Is there a TTB's provision or legal T&C (terms and conditions) that regulate age limites for posting?

Thanks!

K

Posts directed to a minor could be deemed to be 'in loco parentis' under English Civil law K hence if said minor were at some stage to claim to have been influenced negatively or in some wise traumatised by any such post then that could be actionable and in order to find out if it was or not would have to be investigated under Child Protection procedures involving the police, social services, child's GP etc if the child is resident in England.

You did the right thing in baling out the moment that poster claimed to be 17.
