Tons of info here:

The process of successful ageing is not 100% guaranteed because this is like the stock market, you never now when shares will rise.

To store pu erh properly you need to follow this golden rule:

Dry storage: Dry storage refers to Pu-erh tea being stored in a dry and natural environment, thus allowing the tea's aging process to occur slowly. Although Pu-erh tea that is in a dry storage environment takes longer to age, it retains the original flavor of the tea, while offering more nuances and characters over time. As such, dry storage is much preferred. Almost all renowned and quality Pu-erh tea cakes have undergone dry storage.

The key points are:

1. Keep the tea in an odor-free environment.

2. Keep the relative humidity between 60 and 70%.

3. Keep a constant flow of fresh air going through your storage place.

4. Keep the storage area dark.

5. Keep the tea covered with a breathable material (fabric, or the original paper wrappers work fine) free from dust.

6. Always test the are you plan to store your tea in with a small amount of tea to save yourself from ruining a large amount of pu-erh.

7. Check the progress of your tea often.

For ageing the pu erhs you will seek are the ones produced by the Xiaguan Tea Factory. Links to some good vendors:
