qigong styles

onelove, I've heard of Jenny Lamb before, apparently she is writing a book. Really looking forward to that, because the closest seminars to me are in norway, and they are 240 pounds, which I think is quite bloody expensive.

I don't think you can get a really powerful system working from just a book or DVD. Some sort of transmission / projection needs to be done to get things moving.

People who have done Kunlun and had quick progress went to seminars.

One option for learning from a DVD is Flying Phoenix qigong.

However it really depends on the person. Over at dharmaoverground one guy got to stream entry in 10 months with vipassana!

In my experience, the kunlun practice still worked without any transmission. The book was actually made for people who could never get personal instruction.

The less "teachers", the better. I don't believe we need anyone else for anything, although it can be immensely helpful.
