When you first arrived here on TDB, you caught my attention with your commentary about ATP. I've always appreciated your perspective and candor.

Yes, breathing is Qigong and it is what longevity is all about. People should get wise about it by now!

People should get wise about it by now! @ChiDragon Dragons know a thing or two about longevity. Of course I must include the Grandmaster of Fire Dragon While it is Not the literal cartoon fire breathing dragon What it is--physically demanding for starters. What it accomplishes-powerful fast explosive movements and transitions. That's the Fire In the video, Lu Juan Zi performed, I think at age 116 or 117. His lifespan, 120, give or take a year . Certainly an inspiration and exemplar example. And while, it is labeled baguazhang, sure, it has Fire Palm, yet, not your typical baguazhang, contrasting the flowing circular familiar baguazhangs with highly advanced specialized kicks, transitions, that I mentioned above, which produces internal spiraling fiery energies that lead to intense physical development. I consider it Taiyi. Or a bridge between Taiyi and Baguazhang. Very Daoist TFA (totally fucking awesome) And why not add a Singing Dragon to this post. Got Qigong? One might call it something else, but it was still Qigong. Whether you like it or not. All will benefit from it into the journey of longevity. Thanks! zerostao Posted Saturday at 08:09 PM https://www.sciencealert.com/dick-van-dyke-credits-his-longevity-to-one-habit-and-its-backed-by-science Can we really call "100" Daoist longevity? Not really, but it is a nice round number to use as a starting point. Anyways, DVD's advice is sound science; not only that, ask yourself, however long or short your lifespan is, do you want to be angry during it?

Because after that, they felt, it would just be un-needed suffering. I heard another one tell me, and they were in a quasi Daoist village, there was an old man, would walk into the village occasionally, the old guy said, he was 75. But the person telling me about it said "thing is. As a boy he remembered the same old man walking into the village saying he was 75 then. My take away; never admit being older than

If I have to suffer from an illness, then, might as well drop dead. That is why I practice Taiji to stay healthy. I feel like I am having a 25 year old body. Even though, I have reached the age of 77. Edited 9 hours ago by ChiDragon
