no one is denying it or ignoring it.  

they are just saying do it elsewhere, not here.

 

 

it's like raising three boys and teaching them that masturbating is done in these areas (i.e. your room at home) but not in these areas, i.e. your classroom at school, or the kitchen where the family is sitting down to have dinner.

 

sure it's fine to do it, just take it somewhere else, not on this forum.

that is not absurd.  it is common sense.

Yes, I agree with this, there are so many forums online to discus and debate politics on. I see in the rules of this particular forum that discussion of politics is not encouraged. I understand why- it's not a political form.

In case some haven't noticed past, present and future politics is often coming after our religions, cultures, practices, teachers and general populations of peoples in detrimental and even genocidal ways!  We can run but we can't hide here or anywhere else anymore.

A suggestion would be to create a separate forum to mirror this one.  

 

thedaobumspolitics.com or something.  

 

Then invite everyone over there.  

 

That way the staff's wishes are respected here.

...or a forum here that is only accessed or seen by members that sign up for it;

and some moderation that verifies basic site rules of interaction are followed.

 

Btw. many here have been or are presently into some form of martial arts and since many/most of its schools have ethical type teachings then I'd say those involved can't really or honestly reject those ethical lines that include related forms of "politics".  A common saying among many martial artists is that they practice so that they hopefully will never have to use violence but are prepared with training and control if it ever comes down to that.
