I'll be skirting the 'Ivory Coast ' ... they dont like 'foreign interference ' . I have run up against them in the past  when I tried to organize a gift of farming equipment to some people there , post war .  I was told  the leader of the country does not like Red Cross  and refuses all aid . Do not send anything with a red cross on it, or any type of cross or anything red on the outside . Its also best to include a letter (as your packages WILL be opened and inspected ) saying how great our President is  and how fortunate we all are to have such a great and generous man as our leader  ( but just say president , do not name him as that could change any time ) . ' 

 

So as I pass , I hung this over the side of the boat ;

I finally got out of detention .  They seemed to think I was from Austria  ..... no no no ... that big island between S.E. Asia and Antarctica !   I also suspect Apech sent them a bribe to 'hold me off'   

 

I think I am better off out here .... next stop ....  Sierra Leonine , although I know nothing about it .
