Cure to Emotional Pain

How to be free from emotional pain?

If someone does bad things to you, that person faces no consequences and just walks away, there's no justice, nothing else you can do and now you need to live knowing that nothing will happen to that person, how do you free yourself from the emotinal pain?

When people think about justice, then, they want revenge . If one don't get even with that person, the emotional pain won't go away. However, from a Taoist / Buddhist point of view, if one can just let it go and don't think about justice, then, the pain will go away. No matter what the situation is, one always keep one's poise and emotionless. Just treat like it is none of your business. One cannot change whatever had been happened already and can't do anything about it, then, just let it go. That is what cultivation of the mind was all about. Perhaps, this is not something that a normal person can handle. Peace!

That certainly works if the instigator has given up.

If, however, the astral or mental attack continues, it may be necessary to take action.  The simplest is taking the incoming energy lines and dropping them into the Earth.

The next layer of defense is building  a light body imitation of oneself and attaching the incoming energy lines to the imitation.  Most attackers  are not smart enough to understand what is happening, so the target is free.

A more assertive alternative is looping the flows around and redirecting them to the source.  Mostly such attackers do not see they are attacking themself - and get worn out in a couple of days

regarding bold above, since Buddhism embraces both karma and reincarnation, then there are repercussions and "justice."  Even though we do not see how or when the justice is administered, the system assures us that it does occur.  So that is a source of peace.

Our focus though is NOT on the other person, it is on our own self, our own growth, our own development, our own peace of mind, health, and well-being.

Long ago I had a dream that I was in a prison camp.  Someone had broken the rules but I was punished not them.  I felt that was most unfair.

When I awoke I asked about the dream and was told that when a member of a group breaks a rule, it does not matter which in the group is punished.

Thus group karma can result in the innocent bearing the pain.

However it is a person's own personal karma which resulted in them being part of that group.

My personal experience is that the more I am able to connect with the divine, the less BS bothers me.

How would you test that proposition?

That reminds me:

Long ago, it seemed to me (without any analysis) that I did not have any personal karma.  I also read that auto accidents are karmic - and I had had a few of those.

So I asked in meditation and they replied instantly (no need to look up records) :  You will observe that everything that you hit was stationary at the time.  That was carelessness not karma.

Some years ago a bit north of me, on a divided highway with wide grassed area between the directions, at dusk a vehicle crossed the divide and collided head on with another vehicle, killing both drivers.

In the dusk, with headlights on, it is hard to identify oncoming vehicles, so it  is surprising that the drivers were father and son

The common denominator in every problem, obstacle, barrier or situation in my life is:  me. There are no coincidences, and everything that happens in my daily life is a reflection or outpicturing of my own inner state. So typically i ask myself things like "What does this situation ask of me?"  "What is this situation showing me about myself?"  "What does this situation bring up for me, what else is it triggering in me?"

I remember once i was upset (again) about what a certain person had done and I cried out "Why do they keep pushing my buttons!!"  and an acquaintance nearby said "No, your upset is not on them.  They are your buttons and your reactions.  Own it."  She was kind of annoying but the point was valid.  She is the same one who said another time, when we were hearing a musician perform and I said "oh that song makes me so happy" she said, "No.  No one can make you feel a certain way.  You are responsible for your own feelings."

I am 100% responsible for how i respond to whatever the situation is.  And it is my responsibilitly to deal with it in ways that support my health, vitality and well-being.    It is very important to not see myself as a victim, and to not blame others for whatever is going on.  Also not to blame myself.  Taking responsibility does not mean i caused this or that to happen.  It means I am responsible for doing whatever it takes to heal and move forward in my life.

Emotional burdens are very heavy.  Learning how to dissolve and release them is important for our health.  Things may have happened in the past or in other lifetimes which affect me today.  But the here and now is where and how I deal with it.  Regardless of the origin.

It is enough for me to know and trust that "what goes around comes around." I don't need to know or try and identify the specifics and details and point of origin.  If others are acting out then they too are on their path, i don't need to know or see how their lessons unfold.

Owning is good but I am not sure you showed how to test whether connection to group karma is dependent upon personal karma.

My own approach is often by looking at the karmic energy fields where they connect to the light body.

For example:  temporarily start to move away the personal karmic energy and see if the human is still part of the karma of the target group
