The obvious solution seems to be for this relgion-and-spirituality-focused forum,

to simply have a "no politics" rule.

No discussion of politics period.  full stop.

 

no political rants. of any variety either Left or Right.

the directive about no more right wing bullshit relates to more than politics . Right wing bullshit  intrudes into all  sorts of areas . 

 

And for people that have found me rude or challenging   (mostly newbies that come here without realizing the back ground and requirements of the site  .... and put in  complaints  or posted   wingey stuff about me ... 

 

let me remind you , the first post here   ( did you even read it ! ??? )  ;

I was even right about this thread , before it was posted .... I told ya so  -  and the time stamp on my posts proves it . . . . ( and no, I was not talking to Sean before he posted it ) .

I´m all for protecting marginalized people who suffer invisibly from the creeping normalization of bigotry.  Who isn´t?  But I no longer believe that one political "side" is clearly innocent and the other clearly guilty.  I´d say more but the moderators might object to the spreading of right-wing bullshit in the "no more right-wing bullshit" thread.
